Twas the day before Thanksgiving and we awoke to no water. North Coast was out before 9:30 AM and had us fixed up in less than 2 hours. What could have been a very sad (and turkeyless holiday) was avoided. No trouble at all awarding them 5 stars.

I called north coast plumbing and heating because my water heater burst I cannot live without water they came the next day and were quick and efficient

I can't review the quality of their work because I never had the opportunity to experience it. No. Coast Heating is listed as the authorized repair service for Carrier/Bryant Heating systems. For 5 days in a row i have called their Ft. Bragg office to arrange for a repair and an estimate for extending some duct work. Each of the 1st 3 days I was told that they would check with the service reps and call me back by the end of the day. I never received any call back. On the 4th day when I called I was told that Tyler had left me a message (none received) and was on his way to my house (never arrived). On day 5 I was told that she would check again with Tyler and call me right back. You guessed it - no call back!
I am abandoning any hope that No. Coast can provide any service to its customers, and sharing this sad performance with Carrier/ Bryant to see if they have an alternative authorized dealer in our area.

Mother in law had a breakdown in her home heater device and NCPH came out and solved the problem in record time.

We have hired Northcoast Plumbing for three jobs -- replacing funky old toilets, replacing a leaky hot water heater, and fixing a hose bib leak. They have been so quick to respond and done the job well. My go-to plumbers.

So, I must admit, I don't know a thing about this business. And here's the deal. I wanted to do business with this company but they just never called back. Estimator was supposed to do their thing. No call, no show, nothing. Email to the owner, unanswered.
Maybe I just one of the unlucky ones. Perhaps they have too much work and can afford to ignore possible customers. Not sure, but I thought you might want to know this going in.

After paying this company over $600 for annual maintenance on our radiant heating system, I find it in worst condition than before their technician adjusted it. The valves for system are located in a wall with a sheetmetal cover. Only their technician touches it, until today!
Noticed a wet spot on carpet nearby, then buckled floorboard and swollen wood trim on door jambs and cove base. We have major damage that will cost a few thousand to repair.
Seems that the technician neglected to tighten fittings after service and they were leaking at a rate of about 1 drip per second. Over a two month period....that's a lot of water and damage.
We were away for a couple of weeks so it went longer than if I'd been home.
My call to the owner of this company has gone unreturned. I doubt he'll call.

I bought my house a year ago. It is heated using wood. That's right the whole house has heat, and hot water, coming from a small bathroom sized boiler that I stick firewood into every 12 to 24 hours. Every night. Every day. Getting DRY firewood is an exercise in patience this extremely wet year.
When I bought the house the seller had a back of the envelope bid for tens of thousands to convert the system to propane heating. I called the vendor, one of three qualified to do the work in the area, and waited, and waited, and heard excuse after excuse...Months went by, and I gave up. Onto the other vendors. The second contractor, came in, gave me all sorts of useful advice, said he'd respond with a bid in the next few days, and then promptly forgot to return my calls. Same story. Eventually cornered him, and got a ""too complex for me to bid, I'd lose money - so no bid"". Third vendor (North Coast Plumbing) came, in the form of owner Cas and plumber Eric Smith. Eric asked me, as part of their bid prep, for the manual for the boiler. Eric read the manual, and called me up and said there was an aftermarket unit that would burn propane inside the wood boiler. No secondary propane heating boiler/water/pumps/etc system required. Thousands, not tens of thousands. One day install, not weeks. Thank you Eric. This morning I have a nice warm house, and I didn't have to get my achy body out of bed to feed the boiler wood. YAY!! Thank you Eric and North Coast Plumbing. You've earned my loyalty for life!

Had a sink drain plugged. Called North Coast plumbing. They cleared the problem in quick fashion. Responds time was fast.Brandon was a master of his craft.

Person answering the phone is really rude. Glad to know you are busy, and you can't help me until after the holidays... well over a week away. The problem that the pilot light will not light has NOTHING to do with de-scaling the water pipes... I questioned you - it's a propane issue, and your response was to HANG UP ON ME, saying, ""We can't help you, then.""
