Chris C. transitioned from Altadena to Solana Beach in 1976, starting his career with a landscape contractor in La Jolla.
He eventually worked his way to foreman while installing the irrigation systems for landscape installations.
In 1982, he earned an AA degree in Landscape Technology from Mira Costa College.
He became a California Licensed Landscape Contractor in 1983, and has furthered his education as a Certified Backflow Tester in 1987, a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor in 1991, a Pesticide Qualified Applicator Certification in 1992, a Certified Cross Connection Control Specialist in 1995, and a Certified Irrigation Contractor in 1996.
He consistently engages in continuing education to retain his certifications and remain informed about new trends in the field.
