Chris C. moved to Solana Beach from Altadena in 1976 and immediately went to work for a landscape contractor in La Jolla.
He eventually worked his way to foreman while installing the irrigation systems for landscape installations.
He completed his AA degree in Landscape Technology at Mira Costa College in 1982.
In 1983, he obtained his California Landscape Contractor license and continued his education, becoming a Certified Backflow Tester in 1987, a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor in 1991, a Pesticide Qualified Applicator in 1992, a Certified Cross Connection Control Specialist in 1995, and a Certified Irrigation Contractor in 1996.
He regularly attends continuing education to maintain his certifications and keep informed of new developments in the industry.

When the cost to maintain an old poor quality backflow began to outweigh a new unit, Chris was very honest to recommend replacement.
