Gage came by our house to check on our water heater that was leaking. He took a look and gave us pointers for fixing the pipe ourselves. He told us that we *didn't* need a new water heater and wrote up an estimate for exactly how much it would cost. Also, he gave us pointers for what to look for if we ever do find ourselves in the position of needing to replace it. It was refreshing to have someone be so honest and forthcoming (and selfless) with us.

Excellent installation (& purchase) of water softener & RO system with competitive pricing. Gage really know his stuff and does a great job, finding the best way to route out the draining water, fixing up the drywall and bolting down & stabilizing the tank if necessary, which not every installer will do. and he'll take the time to talk to you and explain how the stuff works.

Keep in mind that this is a one man operation and he's busy. If he doesn't answer his phone/email right away, it means he's trying to do a good install job for a customer and he'll get back to you as soon as he can.

Gage installed my water softener a month or so ago and it's been working great. I chose Gage over Randazzo's because he gave me the best price, was straight up with the details of the install, and was just a cool guy to talk to. He did all his own plumbing and electrical work, in addition to fixing up the dry wall and making sure everything was securely fastened. I definitely recommend Gage if you live in San Jose and need a water softener! I don't know how I lived a year in my new home without one!

We asked Gage to move our RO filter to a different place and he was great, quick and charged us very minimum. He gave us a good quote on softner but we decided to stay with the old one for few more years. He was recommended and I strongly recommend him to everyone. He is very open in suggestions, will not try something he does not know, will not do any unnecessary jobs just to make money and gives very decent quotes.

Gage from North Cal Water did an awesome job fixing our water heater. Our water heater went out on Friday. I called Gage and right off the bat he was very responsive. He asked for my heater model number and researched it. He then came over on Monday and thoroughly inspected the heater. Turns out the problem was different from what I had diagnosed after talking to the water heater company on the phone on Friday. His inspection and subsequent fix saved us a lot of trouble and money. His charges were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Gage. He is honest, reasonable and does a great job.

Gage was extremely helpful. I moved into a house that had been foreclosed for 3 years that had a Kinetico water softener system. Gage told me that Kinetico is a company in which only their Kinetico serviceman are trained to handle the repairs b/c of the type of system they use. Gage told me based on his knowledge exactly what he thought I would need to do to service my own water softener by phone and even said he could help out of I texted him pictures rather than waste hundreds of dollars on a Kinetico repair man.
