A five-star rating, and they haven't even done any plumbing yet. I called re: a leak from my upstairs bathroom into my dining room, received pleasant customer service on the phone, and got a next-day appointment at a specific time, not a window. Unfortunately, the leak refused to leak while Jay was here. He kindly wrote up several estimates from best case to worst case scenario, and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely call North Brothers to do the work when the leak inevitably comes back. *EDIT* The leak did come back, and Jay fixed it expertly.

Jay is my go-to plumber from now on! When I called, Anna was helpful and polite. Jay came out the next day and installed my new garbage disposal and shower head. I also have had faucets in my bathroom that have been a problem for YEARS. He advised me on how to get the replacement parts free under warranty from the manufacturer. Jay and his team were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family!

Jay is the best in the business. We had him do a trenchless liner on our 80 year old sewer pipe. His price was very reasonable and he got it done in one day. The alternative was a week of work and digging up a rusted iron pipe 12 feet underground and into the public street. Would have cost a fortune. When we ended up moving to a new house, the inspector found a little failure in the liner and Jay came back to fix it. His warranty is outstanding. He's also unclogged several bathroom and kitchen drains for us and we haven't needed to service them since. If you want a really nice guy who owns his own equipment and gets the job done efficiently and for very fair pricing, do not look further!

Honest and professional plumber! Jay cleared some tree roots in our sewer line and notified me at that time that it appeared as though that clay pipe might need to be patched, which was going to be a very pricey repair, so we put it off for a few months. Within that time another plumber came out through our warranty company to check on a sewage smell emanating from the front bathroom (which we now believe was due to a dead rat under the house). They too looked at the sewer line and declared that that pipe needed a spot repair. We weren't sold however on the way that second plumber proposed to repair the line, so we called Jay back to schedule the job through him. He came prepared to do the work, but upon closer inspection, realized that what he was seeing in the camera was not a broken pipe after all, but just a joint in the line that could easily be mistaken as a crack. He then notified us to say that he felt as though it would be a waste of money to go through with the work, and that our sewer line looked fine after all. We were of course elated with the news, and thankful to have been given such an honest opinion from Jay, when he easily could have just taken our money and gone through with the work.

Called this morning to make an appointment for a time sensitive plumbing need. I was told Jay would come out tomorrow between 8-9a by the woman in his office.
Jay texted me at almost 6p tonight to inform me he has a job he is on for a week and has to ""pass/decline on coming out.""

Totally stressed out when we experienced major back up in both bathrooms. Like most folks, I didn't have extra money laying around for unforeseen plumbing issues. Called North Brothers and they were at my home within a couple hours. Problem was resolved in a very timely manner and the dreaded bill was less than I was expecting. I would recommend North Brothers to anyone and I will totally use them again. Hopefully I won't need to in the near future! But it's good to know I've found a trustworthy and highly competent plumber. Two thumbs up!

I don't usually write reviews but my experience with North Brothers Plumbing and Rooter was so positive that I want people to know there are still great small businesses out there! Jay arrived on time, was professional, reasonable priced and did great work. He left everything spotless and my plumbing problems were solved in one day. I had 3 or 4 issues throughout out the home I had just purchased and he took care of all of them. Thank you! So happy to have a reliable plumber for my new home.

I would give these people 0 stars if possible. I called to get a quote because of a problem that our 7 condo unit was having and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and said they could not help even though their website describes the exact problem I was trying to fix. I was trying to get a quote on a sump pump and repair costs and before I could even describe the problem I was hung up on. I called back and told the same person to listen to the problem before saying no and got hung up on again. Worst business that I have had to deal with and very unprofessional.

I have used North Bros/Jay several times, at several residences. The first time I hired him it was to try and get a problem fixed that another plumber had screwed up. Once he fixed that, I know he was my new go-to plumber! Just had him in to fix all 3 leaking baths in my new home and I feel confident that he knows what he is doing. Because it was a lot of work he gave me a nice discount, too, and that was an unexpected surprise!
