Called this morning to make an appointment for a time sensitive plumbing need. I was told Jay would come out tomorrow between 8-9a by the woman in his office.
Jay texted me at almost 6p tonight to inform me he has a job he is on for a week and has to ""pass/decline on coming out.""

Totally stressed out when we experienced major back up in both bathrooms. Like most folks, I didn't have extra money laying around for unforeseen plumbing issues. Called North Brothers and they were at my home within a couple hours. Problem was resolved in a very timely manner and the dreaded bill was less than I was expecting. I would recommend North Brothers to anyone and I will totally use them again. Hopefully I won't need to in the near future! But it's good to know I've found a trustworthy and highly competent plumber. Two thumbs up!

I don't usually write reviews but my experience with North Brothers Plumbing and Rooter was so positive that I want people to know there are still great small businesses out there! Jay arrived on time, was professional, reasonable priced and did great work. He left everything spotless and my plumbing problems were solved in one day. I had 3 or 4 issues throughout out the home I had just purchased and he took care of all of them. Thank you! So happy to have a reliable plumber for my new home.

I would give these people 0 stars if possible. I called to get a quote because of a problem that our 7 condo unit was having and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and said they could not help even though their website describes the exact problem I was trying to fix. I was trying to get a quote on a sump pump and repair costs and before I could even describe the problem I was hung up on. I called back and told the same person to listen to the problem before saying no and got hung up on again. Worst business that I have had to deal with and very unprofessional.

I have used North Bros/Jay several times, at several residences. The first time I hired him it was to try and get a problem fixed that another plumber had screwed up. Once he fixed that, I know he was my new go-to plumber! Just had him in to fix all 3 leaking baths in my new home and I feel confident that he knows what he is doing. Because it was a lot of work he gave me a nice discount, too, and that was an unexpected surprise!

Jay showed up on time as promised. Explained what he was doing as he did it. Finished the job in less time than I expected. Price was reasonable. Work was excellent. I would use him again for whatever plumbing needs I have.

I have used Jay as my primary plumber for several years. He did more work for me this week-finishing the installation of two toilets a friend had not installed correctly. As always, Jay arrived on time, was professional, nice, and thorough. His work was also priced fairly. I will call him again.

I had a major plumbing problem as a tree root found a way into my sewer line. I had plumber A come out and try to snake the pipe clean but after 30 minutes of struggling was unable to. I had Jay out about a year earlier to give me an estimate on replacing the pipe and decided to call him up and see what he could do. Jay got in there and two hours later pulled out enough of a tree root to buy me a week until he could come out and replace the pipe. That was a great job in itself. Jay comes out the next week right on time to work on the pipe. He did it one day which was the best case scenario and for the price he quoted. He dug under the house, took virtually no break for like 8 hours and got in the new pipe by the end of the day. I'm totally satisfied and would recommend Jay for any job.

Jay is professional and friendly, he has been our plumber for a few years now. He is always are able to stop by to asses a situation even when he is really busy. He is fairly priced, and can help with difficult situations, I'm not sure there is any plumbing situation Jay can't handle. He does great work in a very clean and timely manner. It feels good to say I have a plumber I can trust and I highly recommend him to anyone.

This is my first time using North Brothers Plumbing & Rooter. (I found him on Angie List.)
My sewer line was clogged and I called him to to unclog it and to give me a quote to reline my sewer pipe. He snaked it and then ran a camera to see what was the cause of the blockage. His camera did not show the blockage, only standing water. He recommended Hydro-jetting to clear the blockage or perhaps the hydro-jetting will push whatever it is into the main sewer line. The hydro-jetting, cleared the standing water and the camera was sent down again. It showed a large blockage and everyone best guess was a rock penetrated the cast iron pipe. On the day of the repair, Jay excaved to the sewer line and found the object was not the rock, but an electrical conduit (presumably for the street lights, as my power come from overhead lines). Jay was exception in getting the city to come out that day to relocate the electrical conduit. He completed the repair by 4pm and my water restore. After all this was said and done, with the extra work he put in, he still honor his original quote to me. No add on. Kudo to Jay. 5+ Stars, I highly recomment Jay for your plumbing need.
