I have been using North Brothers Plumbing & Rooter for many years and I have always been more than satisfied with every call. I recently signed up for a monthly program and it doesn't disappoint. Their plumbers work fast, clean and they are very organized. This is the best plumber I've ever used.

Horrible horrible horrible. Fleeced my parents for $415 to repair washer in faucet aardvark replace kitchen faucet hose. My parents are both in tHeir 90s and we're definitely taken advantage age oof by Jay who was technician. THis is a form of elder abuse and they should be ashamed. LOOK OUT SENIOR CITIZENS.

Jay serviced our kitchen sink yesterday. We had a deep clog that the handyman couldn't fix. Jay was prompt and he's easily the neatest plumber I've ever seen. He put on shoe coverings without being asked, placed a special tarp on the floor before he began working and even tented his snake so that it wouldn't splatter during recoil. Jay is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. We wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

About a year ago, I happened to take a business card from North Brothers' truck when they were working in my neighborhood. When my kitchen sink wouldn't drain a few days ago, I found the card and gave Jay a call. He said he'd arrive between 4:30 and 5:00 (my preferred time) and arrived on time. He looked at the work to be done and proceeded to show the pricing list. That's always appreciated instead of someone coming in and ""telling"" you what it will cost. The work was completed in a timely manner, he cleaned the area, and checked to make sure everything was clear. I will keep North Brothers in my contact list and gladly refer the company.

This not a reliable company, by my experience. I've waited over 5 months to give Jay North time to keep his word before posting this. Sadly enough he hasn't.
I was referred to North Brothers Plumbing by my tankless water heater company, Noritz. I wanted to have a routing maintenance.
Apparently I needed a small filter to complete the maintenance that Jay North did not have with him. He said that he would order one and return to replace at no charge. Keep in mind that I did not ask for free service.
I have left 6 VM messages and also sent text message.
I paid in full but did not receive full service. Stay away.

Update
Well... It appears that he would rather rant lies than admit fault and God forbid he offer to rectify the issue.
This certainly defines character.

Thank goodness North Brothers Plumbing was available as the main shut off valve to my home was in need of repair. I telephoned and Jay was able to come the following day. He first quoted me the cost for several small repairs. On a written estimate he numbered and itemized each repair. That way I knew exactly what each repair would cost with warranty. There wasn't any fast talking or confusing bundling prices with Jay. He was very professional and had a people friendly personality. It's been around 2 months now since my repairs were done and all continue to be just fine. I certainly recommend North Brothers Plumbing.

There's no hot water...water in the basement put the heater out...where's the leak? Called my usual plumber, he's on vacation, what with no backup? Called several more and got answering machines. What to do! Called North Brothers. Someone answered the phone! And they said I could get help ""within the hour."" Hooray! Jay North to the rescue. He located the leak in a out-of-the way wall and placed new pipes to the source. Fixed the water heater. I am very happy with North Brothers and will call them again when in need. Highly recommend.

We had a complicated situation with our water meter and pipes running through our next door neighbor's property. We called North Brothers since we have been happy with their work in the past. We needed to have our meter and pipes configured on our own property. For this job we were not surprised that Jay once again delivered top-notch service at a fair price. His professionalism really came through especially when interacting with our water company's bureaucracy. I would recommend North Brothers to family, friends and neighbors without hesitation.

I've used North Brothers Plumbing for four or five years on a number of different projects in my Craftsman Bungalow. Jay is very professional, the prices are reasonable and they're from a job-price list he has, so his pricing is not based on what he thinks he can ding you for.

He's done a number of jobs for me:
* repairing a leaking toilet
* repairing leaking drains (never the same one twice)
* cleaning drains
* gas repiping for a replacement stove (more than a simple connection).

He's even repaired some poor homeowner installations without embarrassing me.
