Frank's plumbers did a few small jobs at my home in SF. They left after 2.5 hours and told us everything was fixed. One of the four issues was not fixed at all--it was in fact worse than when they arrived. I called to have them come back and remedy the situation, which was easily done (it took 15 minutes) and they wanted to bill me an additional service hour. I paid these people $660 for 2.5 hours work, part of which was entirely faulty, and they then wanted to paid more for fixing their shoddy work. Frank called me and argued with me for about 20 minutes, all the while trying to gaslight me into believing the work was *totally fine* when they left--somehow it magically became broken again immediately after the plumbers left. He also insisted I wasn't there (I was there the whole time) and so couldn't know what happened, and that the issue (which remember, didn't exist) was due to faulty equipment (which, somehow, works just fine after having been serviced properly the second time).

Then, 2 weeks after they ""fixed"" the leak behind our shower, there is water damage in the floor behind that shower. Turns out they didn't fix that, either. Hiring these people is going to cost me thousands to remedy the things they said they did, but didn't do.

Listen to your customers, Frank, instead of making things up to explain away poor service.

These people are driving me crazy.

I contracted with someone to resurface my driveway. They requested I do an inspection of the sewer pipe that extends from my garage to the street. They asked North South Plumbing to do a video, which they did. I offered to pay with a credit card on site, at the time of service. I was told they did not have the capability to take a credit card payment.

They sent me an invoice via email. I then attempted to pay them via PayPal. The funds were withdrawn and then returned when they were no claimed. Why? They don't have a PayPal account.

I was then contacted via email by someone from their company who requested I send payment to PayPal account [email protected]. It was paid.

Now they keep contacting me every week or so, asking for payment for this outstanding invoice.

I don't know much about their ability to do a plumbing job. They took a video & then gave me an estimate for replacing the pipe that was (imho) exorbitant so I elected to not have them do the work.

Their persistence in billing me reflects either a lack of organization or an attempt to bill be twice for their service. Either way, I can't give them a good review.

Great experience with Frankie's team. Worked quickly, found the (hidden) leak and replaced the damaged piping quickly. Had to work in some tight spaces and did a great job. Highly recommended.

Good on price. They no-showed multiple times though and I actually had to show up to their office and demand that they come to finish off the project. Quality was alright once they did show up, though there was a small leak that they had to come back and fix. But it took way too much work to make it happen and it put on-time completion of the project at risk.

I would absolutely recommend to work with them from plumbing for home remodels and new construction to plumbing for smaller scale one-off issues.

North and South installed a radiant heating system in my home about two years ago.

After coming back from winter vacation, the system was down. The next morning, I left a voicemail for Frankie at 8:07AM, and he responded with a text at 8:17AM. After a series of text messages, he was at my doorsteps at 10:01AM.

Not only did he correctly diagnose the problem, he didn't even charge me for the visit.

I don't want to set the bar too high for his other customers, but can you talk about service???

Each time Frankie has been able to be flexible on timing and his team are very competent. I've consistently had a good working relationship with the North & South crew and I'm looking forward to doing more projects with them.

Frankie was a no-show. We had an appointment scheduled with Frankie nearly a week in advance. He didn't call to let us know that he couldn't make it. We emailed him and called him multiple times. No response. He still hasn't called to apologize for not showing up.

We then had to call another plumber who charged us a very high fee because it was a last minute call. I would not recommend using North South Plumbing.

I contacted Frankie to evaluate a radiant heating system in the Haight. My clients were purchasing a condo there, and we wanted his expert opinion on its overall soundness. There are a limited number of heating specialists who handle radiant heating, and fortunately, Frankie is one of them.

He diagnosed an issue right away with one of the heating units in the property, and also identified exactly what my clients needed to do in order to install a component of the system to code. Furnished us with an estimate in a prompt manner.

I am a busy real estate agent who relies on the prompt expertise of professionals like Frankie, and am happy to say that I strongly recommend his services.
