I do not know if Norris Mechanical is dishonest or just incompetent, but I would avoid them like the plague. Over the past year, they worked on my beach house HVAC charging in excess of $3K and the problem was never really fixed. During their last visit in August 2022, they made some repairs, recharged the refrigerant and charged me about $450. Immediately after this repair failed, they came out and ran a diagnostic that said a valve was leaking, charged me about $150 and proposed replacing the whole system for over $7K. Why in the world did they not perform the diagnostic BEFORE trying to repair the system and recharging the refrigerant? Needless to say I am turning down their proposal to replace the entire HVAC system and I will look for someone I think I can trust.

My Heat wasn't working and noticed the breaker tripped for the condenser unit outside. It would keep tripping. I called the company that originally installed this unit 2 years ago. They couldn't come out for almost a week and a half. I called Norris Mechanical and they had someone out within two days. Found the problem to be the compressor. Had to wait a ,month because of supply chain shortages but the tech came out a day after the compressor arrived to them, installed it, pulled vacuum, and had it working within 4 hours. They really know what they are doing and they are certified to repair Trane systems, which is one of the reasons I called them. Thanks to all of the folks who work at Norris Mechanical! Im glad I found you!!

Poor customer service. They called at 6:30 AM for an appt for a county inspection that was over 2 years past due. Should have been taken care of when the new HVAC system was installed. They also screwed up my damper system and I had to call another Company to come undo their mess.
Owner never responded to my e-mail.

Poor customer service. Asked them to evaluate our AC and boiler on a bank owned property before we put a contract on it. They met my real estate agent and said because the water and gas weren't turned on the couldn't. I got a call from the office and said we owed them $187. I asked what about the AC evaluation, she said he couldn't find one. It's right by the side door and works okay btw. I asked why she didn't explain the prerequisites before going out, she said we don't know to ask that. I agreed to a $100 charge but they charged $187. We disputed, they called and I suggested he just come out now that utilities were turned on and he just threatened to put a lien on the house to make it foreclose.

Seemed like a very nice guy and preformed work well. But make sure to get everything in writing. I have had an issue with a stat that was to be left at my home and now they will not respond to my text or calls about returning it.
