I can only hope that the dialogue between Jeff and myself was recorded. Then a similar problem occurred between Ron and myself. Granted that the repeated difficulty had to do with my failure to understand, but neither tech had the vocabulary to help me. I will not argue if there is no tape, both techs tried to do their best. Damage: one dip switch almost destroyed but just enough left.

As a professional plumber I can say noritz makes unreliable products with horrible customer service

Jason Sanchez was immensely helpful in diagnosing the problems with my Noritz tankless water heater. Jason helped me step by step go through the panel and the heater parts till we found the problems. He then shipped the necessary parts under warranty so that I can fix the heater. After replacing the parts he sent me the heater is working great.
Thanks a ton Jason!

I wish I could give this company a ZERO star. Do not buy a noritz tankless water heater they break and it will cost you more to fix then to replace the unit. All noritz will do is replace the parts under warranty. After they warranty the unit you have to wait for a reference number then a CO number to get the replacement parts. Products are crap and break down. This is my 3rd part replacement in 5 years

Jason with the Noritz technical dealer support helped me solve a code 12 problem that I had tried many times to solve myself. 10 stars if I could. He called me back 6 times as I kept losing connection in the basement. Thank you.

I'll give them 2 stars. My first part purchase through this company a few months ago went OK. Nothing amazing it just went OK and I got what I needed so there is the two stars in this review. No stars for my second experience. I called customer service today and I spoke with a so called senior technician by the name of Luis. The guy was a piece of work, very rude and didn't seem to know what he was talking about. I had a simple request for a new part (a straight pipe) to extend a tankless water heater vent through a slightly thicker wall as the one I had was too short for my project. I had seen the part I needed online but Luis told me the part didn't exist and could not be done. He was 100% wrong and tried to make himself sound intelligent despite not knowing what he was talking about. I consulted with a plumbing company who installs my unit model and deals with this company all the time. He even gave me the Noritz catalog which had the part I needed listed inside. This Plumber confirmed that depending on who you get on the line at Noritz customer service, it can be either be a pleasant constructive conversation or a complete Joke and waste of time and he told me where I could purchase the part I needed. Unfortunately Luis was a Joke and he wasted my time trying to lead me in the wrong direction. Luis has no business in customer service or qualified to have a title of senior technician at this company. If I didn't get this Noritz unit for free out of a remodel, I would have returned it and purchased a competing brand after this experience. I certainly won't be buying a new Noritz product in the future due to their lack of customer service.

Marco was very helpful.
I was having issues with my controller and he explained the functionality and what were next steps

Ok zero stars literally if possible. The customer service reps are a joke. Two weeks without hot water heater and they're still trying to diagnose and go through the same button pushing each time !!! I'm at wits end and already have paid $1100 to a plumber to install parts they sent out the first time.
This time the plumber told me the unit really needs to be replaced so it's like oooook I just spent $1100 for nothing.
Why can't this company just acknowledge that a one of the units is faulty ??
The manufacturer date is 2018 but we didn't even move into our BRAND NEW construction home until November 2019.
Definitely reporting this company to the BBB

I have spoken with Valerie a few times and she has been extremely, helpful. She is competent, knowledgable, and patient as she worked thru my problem. As of this email. I have ordered replacement parts and she has sent me a schematic allowing me to make the repairs. I was a little concerned about replacing the ignitor but she discussed with me and I feel confident to try it today. The person who installed the unit has retired so I don't have s service person right now. I was very pleased with Valerie's support and the NRC661-DV has given me several years of reliable hot water.

Exactly one year ago, after my water heater gave out, at the suggestion of Roy (Conejo Tankless), We installed a Noritz NRCR111DV and am I glad we did. First, in trying to be proactive, 1 year later I found myself with a lot of questions on how to flush my unit and just spent 1/2 hour on the phone with jamie, she was amazing (as was Antwoine). Second, in light of the fact that we will be replumbing our home in the near future, we are glad to have purchased the unit that we did as it does have a recirculation loop built in. As for the quality of the unit, including it's heating capacity, while it is a lot better than the original water heater, everyone should keep in mind that, based on all the other factors of your home (original plumbing layout, distance, draw, etc.), in and of itself, these units cannot work miracles. That being said, in my situation, I am looking forward to updating our plumbing to PEX with and on-demand loop that, again, is built into this unit (sensor and recirculation pump included)!
