STAY AWAY! This company will ignore calls to address potential damage caused to your home by their technicians. I waited for over two weeks for them to respond and they ghosted me. Take it from a retired member of our armed forces, you don't want to use a company that won't take accountability for their actions - even if it might have been by mistake. Find another company - and fast!

My first 2 services with them were fine. However now they have rescheduled my service check appointment THREE times despite contacting me last night at dinner time to confirm my appt. They called me at 8am for a 10am appt to reschedule it, mind you after we took time off work for this appt. What changed in 14 hours?

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE! We had signed a service contract with this company to perform maintenance on our two AC units. This season the both AC unit were not blowing cool air. The service tech informed my husband that they needed to be replace and it would cost $20, 000. I called another professional and he said they were blowing warm bc they needed Freon in each system. And that both systems were only at 50% full and the smallest unit hadn't even been open. The tech stated the locks weren't even open, covered with dust. The units had not been properly serviced although we paid the service fees and trusted norfolk air to perform the correct services which they did not do. Do not use NORFOLK AIR & Heating! They do not perform services as the service contracts directs and tried to get the customer to purchase systems that are not needed.

Absolutely don't use. Had roots in sewer out to street. 10 foot section from front of house to street. Technician came out and gave 705 dollars to clean out due to having to take dog for surgery that morning had to get it fixed. Knowing it was way too high of a price accepted. Technician said he would be back didn't have an extension cord. I provided one. Took 20 minutes to do the job. Then he tried to tell me I need several other things like camera scope for 250 dollars. My bust should have just paid required 78 dollars for call and get someone else to come out. Will never use them again.

I do not recommend them to anyone in the Hampton roads area. We purchased two new systems for our house from them in 2022. Recently our upstairs unit completely stopped working. After the technician ran diagnostics on it he determined that the unit was installed with a manufacturer defective part. I have no problem in paying the labor costs for the repair however we are on the hook for this oversight from Norfolk Air and the addition damage this defective part caused to the tune of nearly 2k. Rather than the company stepping up and standing behind their work they said ""sorry we don't honor our work past a year and there is nothing we can do"". I highly encourage you to shop around for a company that will stand by their work and do what's morally right when the time comes. If they did this to us I'm sure they have or will continue to do it to other customers. Rather than have a good reputation in the community they would rather financially violate their customers.

Had them come out because my ac stopped pushing out air and they claimed my circuit board had corrosion and would need to be replaced. 500 dollars and two weeks later they finally have the part and it's 'replaced'. Now it hasn't even been two weeks and ac is broken again, went up to look and new board has corrosion, they say they can't come look for free want to charge another 100! Ridiculous and sketchy. a brand new part should not already be broken ! Deceitful company, please do not waste your time or money they do not deserve either!
Really wish I could get my money back! Also make sure to report them to better business bureau for fraudulent activity! They are committing crimes!

Having my first HVAC problem so I decided to go the old school route and call the number from the mail - never again.

1) First and foremost, when I called to make an appointment, they'll tell you that they have a $90 service call. This is just for the tech to even come out. What am I paying for? Y'all's gas?
Also they stated a 5% military discount. Stay tuned.

Had restricted airflow to 2 out of 5 bedroom and had them come out. Tech did some troubleshooting, called his supervisor for recommendations, and told me what needs to be done for $1800.

Afterwards, it's time to pay. Tech told me there's a $87 diagnostic fee. What in the world. Didn't know about this and even the tech said he wished the call center would just say this outright and that it frustrates them as well, because techs are the ones answering to frustrated customers. Oh, military discount does not apply to any of this.

I called and they ""listened"" to the past call recording in 10 seconds somehow and told me they stated a ""fee."" It could be $10 or $500 for all I know - they're out to get you. Using a sketchy tactic here. DO NOT USE.

I was able to find a competitor and fixed the issue for $700.

We had someone come out and had our thermostat replaced downstairs. The price was $500 and we agreed to get it done but after some research, The part that was used to replace the thermostat runs $58; the service fee was $90, so the hour of labor was worth $350?!! This seems so much more than it should have been: we have used your services in the past and never felt so taken advantage of. This cost was almost double what our neighbor paid for the same service with a different company.

I would not recommend using this company. I have been in construction for 35 years I was away on vacation when we got a call with a water leak. The only company available on short notice was Norfork A/C. They said it would be an $89 charge to go to the home and see what the problem was. They proceeded to go to the house and say that we had a leak washing machine valves. Due to the amount of water that leaked we decided to put in an insurance claim. They proceeded to open the wall find a leak fix it and charge us $1140 dollars. They sent a generic bill with just the price. My insurance company needed a breakdown of what they did including the initial call price and the price for opening the wall. So I called them back and asked them for a breakdown of the bill since the insurance company will not cover the price to actually fix the leak. I was told they do not give itemized bills. I explained my situation and I was still told there was no way that they can break it down in bill form. This seemed odd and in the meantime there was still water sitting in my house waiting for approval from insurance. This happened on November 8 after numerous calls on November 14 the young lady was able to say oh I can break it down as an estimate, broke it down for me, took them a week to help me with that. So the breakdown was $89 for the initial visit which was understood. $366 dollars to cut approximately a 2 x 3 hole in the wall. The story gets better. I submit the breakdown to my insurance company and they proceeded to tell me that they will not cover the claim If the leak was due to wear and tear. So I called back Norfork HVAC they proceeded to tell me they don't know if they can help me with that. This goes on for another couple of days until I asked to speak to the supervisor of the plumbing department. I explain to him that the original technician had told us that there was a crack in the pipe he says as he read it over it was due to wear and tear. I said see what you can do I think that it might've been more than that. He reached out to his technician came back and told me sorry can't help it was where in tear. Here's where it gets interesting.I then asked him if it was only wear and tear why didn't your plumbing technician just change the packing on the valves Instead of changing the valves and charging all that money. There is not much to a shut off valve. There was silence, then he said let me call my technician again. I got a phone call within five minutes saying yeah there was a crack in the pipe. To me very shady company. Not helpful to the customers and highly overpriced. Stay away
