The hot water at my house would run out and go cold in about 3 minutes, which definitely made showers go faster, however cold showers in February are not high on my to do list.

Alas I reach out to a few plumbers to diagnose what I'm assuming is a faulty water heater. 1st plumber comes out, looks at it real quick, tells me the quick fix and is on his way. Nick from Norfleet comes out, spends a good amount of time testing and then explaining why he believes we have a slab leak.

So I shop around for a leak detection company and sure enough, slab leak. Leak detection company's work was a little sloppy, so Nick took the time to reach out to them and see exactly where the manifolds are so he can steer me in the right direction.

Again, I shop around and I was pretty pumped Nick at Norfleet came out with the best price. Nick came out to my house all day and did a fantastic job rerouting my pipes and for the first time I took a warm shower this morning, my god it felt good.

So to recap, in my experience Norfleet is honest, knowledgeable, and is super communicative while also coming in at the best price in my situation.

Nick was on time and professional. He fixed a leaky kitchen and bathroom faucet. He seated a seal to stop a running toilet and placed a pressure relief valve outside outside of the house to regulate water pressure coming to prevent further faulty faucets. Melanie was very responsive and courteous. The price was reasonable and Nick was kind enough to show me what he was doing as he was working. Highly recommended. Just good and honest people. Last week I had Nick come out and fix the valve in our downstairs shower....it was leaking water out of it when the shower was on. He was able to come out the next day and replace it for me. We have used Norfleet Family Plumbing before to fix a toilet for us after we had the hose snap from the wall. Both times Nick has come to our house he has done great work. His prices are great too. It's a small business....Nick and his wife, which I like because I feel like you can trust small family businesses more then big name companies. If you are looking for a plumber this is definitely the company to call.

We called Norfleet about a moaning hose bibb. He came out and fixed it. A week later, my wife turned on the water, and the faucet wouldn't turn off. When she gave it a little oomph, the handle broke! Called him back, and it was replaced, no problem. They warranty everything for two years. We're really happy with the responsiveness, and will absolutely call them for future plumbing needs.

Completely agreed with the earlier reviews: easy quote process, reasonable price comparing to competition, no pressure to buy warranty. I was able to schedule a water heater installation within a few of days (I had to wait for it to arrive) and they were very helpful when I needed to reschedule for earlier day.
Actual installation: Nick was on time, installed a new water heater and even gave me a discount (nice surprise for a change comparing to other contractors who try to charge you extra for every little thing) and he fixed a scr*w up from a previous plumber at no extra charge. Just to compare to Parker & Sons, they wouldn't even give me an estimate for the fix, made it look like it was a big deal!
I would definitely use this business again and recommend them to my friends and coworkers! Happy New Year!

Nick, the owner of Norfleet Family Plumbing came out and installed a new garbage disposal. Very impressed with him being on time and the speed of installation. This company seems to stand behind their business card ""plumbing repairs and honest answers."" I will definitely recommend this company.

Woke up to a broken water heater and a garage full of water. Checked Yelp. Called a few places. Norfleet answered right away on a Saturday morning. Quoted a very reasonable price but they had no availability until Monday. She placed me on hold to see if a technician could squeeze me in. Sure enough they did and arrived promptly within an hour. 2 person team did great work and were done in about 1 hour. I highly recommend their service and they'll be my first call for any future plumbing needs.

I had old style leaking gate valves in my laundry which really complicated things when my washing machine developed a leak. I contacted Norfleet and they gave me a quote over the phone for the valves that seemed reasonable. The call was fielded by the owners wife, not a call center, and she asked a few questions to scope out the work required. I was already impressed as most of the time your call is answered by a dispatch center and you have no idea what you are getting into until the plumber shows up and quotes you the job while on site. Nick, the owner, came to the site and did the work, he was courteous, professional, and cleaned up after the job was done which entailed opening up the wall. The bill was less then what they quoted over the phone and as a result I'm having them come back to replace the hot water heater as well.

Last Thursday Nick , the owner came to our home as we had a main water line leak. He was the first call to respond and he was immediately thorough in explaining what needed to be done plus he quoted us a very reasonable estimate . He showed up next AM with an assistant earlier than expected, job completed in 4.5 hours and 25$ less! Clean job, quick and pleasant .Try this company before anyone.
