Originally scheduled w/Nordvind for a pump alarm issue (float arm fell) and pumping. We also had risers installed and after a month long ordeal we ended up having to also replace a burned up pump motor following pumping. We were very displeased, for many reasons: Multiple appointments, changed appointments, left two lids loose with no screws (a compliance issue), prices higher than two other quotes after being told we were given a 15% discount. Received evening texts threatening that if we didn't agree to the price and pay they would not return to remedy the problem and he would put a lien on the property. The text rant continued and then started getting apology texts the following morning.
In the end, another company replaced our motor. They were professional and a better price.

After having two other companies come out and tell us that everything checked out on our septic system when we knew something wasn't right. They took the time to track down the problen and make the repair in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. Thank got Eric and your crew. You're the best!

UPSET - In October of 2017 we were in need of getting rid over 2000 gallons of sewage from under our house. We had one company come to help, they then had Nordvind come to get rid of it. He came, it took Eric Peterson 2 trips to do the job. He did a good job and we were pleased. When he left our place though he hit our car that was parked on our property. Someone witnessed this and contacted him right then to let him know he did this. He did come back to say he would take care of this. I told him I just had my Achilles Tendon ruptured and I would not be able to get my car up to get an estimate for 3-4 months. When I was ready, I went up to get things started with getting the estimate. It came to a total of $3,000.00. I called him to let him know and he said he will send it to his insurance to get it started. Every time I called him he seemed to be stalling... It is now August 2018 and I have not once heard from him in anyway except when I have called him... I have called at lease 10 times. and now he is avoiding us, hanged up on my wife. During this whole time he has never once contacted us... NEVER! I cannot believe someone in business would pull something like this! If you are a good person Eric, you would get this taken care of. I will take you to court soon. I will put a Lien on you and everything that I am able to. You will wish you never messed with me. So I would try to do something now before it goes that far. I will do everything the legal to get you! I don't do things dirty like you are doing. So pay up or see you soon!

I was visiting my mom when her septic backed up. We had Nordvind pump her septic on September 13th and ended up replacing her drain field on September 15th. My Aunt and I were splitting the cost and we tried to pay for the job by calling the owner several times. He was either busy or didn't return my calls. I didn't hear from the owner, Eric until October 1st. He explained that he's been extremely busy and that his wife had a baby. My Aunt and I split the bill, paying $2970 each. We both paid with credit card over the phone. I noticed I was charged $3059.10. I contacted Eric thru text message right away about the extra money charged to my card. He told me that my Aunt and I were both charged a 3% credit card fee for manually typing in our credit card because he didn't swipe them. Eric never mentioned this during our phone conversation when he took my credit card information. I told him that it was kind of shady to charge us a fee when we tried several times to pay him. He told me that he was sorry for the confusion and that he'd mail me a check for the $89.10 the next day. I asked if he discussed the fee with my Aunt and he said, yes. I contacted my Aunt and she was upset because he never told her about the extra fee. She said she would of mailed him a check if that was the case. I forwarded my aunt's response to Eric and asked, what's going on? He asked for her address and said that he'd mail her a check too. Well it's now the 13th of October, and neither one of us has received our checks!!! When i contact, Eric about not receiving our checks, he gives me the run around. He said that maybe they were sent to the service address. I called my moms to see if any mail came from Nordvind, and the answer was no. I have to question his integrity as a business owner. I understand he is busy, but so am I. We paid him promptly when he finally called back, I expect the same from him. Just a warning to other people wanting to do business with this company....get all costs in writing.

Nordvind did the inspection when we purchased our house in 2002. We used them for routine clean outs and also for the inspection during the sale of our home. They have been a great company to deal with.
