Called Norblum yesterday afternoon to have them come out and look at my upstairs tub drain that wasn't working - drained as if through a pinhole. They were able to schedule me for the following day at 2 pm. They provided text and phone call reminders which were great.

Today they were great about contacting me with updates on their arrival. Arrived at 2:40 pm and he came right in and took a look. My biggest fear was a previous quote I got for $900+ to fix from a different company. However, Norblum was able to review the situation and estimate it would take him less than an hour to fix. All told it would be around $250.

He was done in 45 min and was still able to fill the tub up to make sure there weren't any leaks. And it all came in at their time estimate. I couldn't believe it! Now our tub drains normally AND it was a fraction of a previous quote.

Norblum will be my sole plumber provider from now on!

If you ""request a quote"" I think you would get a quote in 30 minutes as it states. I requested a quote yesterday at 2:45. I still do not have a quote.

Norblom Plumbing charges Labor and Materials.

Their Labor rates are ""average"". I was quoted over the phone 1-2 hours of labor. It ended up taking my plumber 3H 15 minutes. They charge $47 every 15 minutes. So I was not very happy about that, it seemed very much like a bait and switch.

What really upset me was the amount they charge for materials.

I was charged $303 for $70 worth of materials.
$82 for 12'-0"" of 3/8"" copper tubing..... that's an insane markup that should cost $12-$20 not $81!

It was like that for every single item they billed for materials. Look somewhere else for fair plumbing work.

Called for service to repair leaking toilet shutoff and they came next business day. They kept me informed of ETA, and Jake was very prompt, professional and helpful. He gave suggestions on repairs to a couple of other minor issues I asked him to look at while he was here. I'll call them for all of my future plumbing needs! Very reasonable pricing.

Super fast, very friendly, reasonably priced. We had a clogged sink that was beyond my ability to snake and repair myself, and contacted Norblom at about 9:30 pm when I gave up. They had staff out by noon the next day who were able to address the problem without much fuss.

We have had Norblom out a few times and it depends on who comes out. If you find a good plumber maybe you can request them specifically? The office person/scheduler is always really polite.

We returned from a lengthy vacation to find that our water pipes were frozen. Tried to thaw ourselves, but it ultimately needed service. After looking here on Yelp, we called Norblom for help.

Zach came out and inspected the pipes, identified the frozen part, and helped us thaw it within 30 minutes. Efficient and effective, and only charged for the service call.

Later that day, we discovered a clog near our laundry drain. Another call to Zach, and the next day he returned to snake it out within 20 minutes. No fuss, and the cost was reasonable.

We've had rough experiences with other plumbers and HVAC specialists. Not with Norblom. Highly recommended.
