They sent a new guy the first time that didn't have the material needed to do the job, over $200. The second trip he installed a leak stop, he said there is a very small leak and this would work, and supposedly refilled the refrigerant. Over $300 bill, $600 total. A few days later it is still not cooling!! Now I'm calling someone who may know what they are doing!
Overcharged me for a basic thermostat which price range from $49 to $69. He charged me $175 for the thermostat and $50 for service charge. I will never use this service again. I recommend not using this service because of their overcharging and manipulation of customer!
I had a leak in my basement from my bathroom overhead. I thought it was a toilet leak, because after flushing is when the water would appear on my basement floor. They came out and looked at everything. They had me flush the toilet and run water through the sink and tub. Water dripped when I flushed the toilet, but not when I ran sink or tub. He want to the bathroom, said toilet was loose, and tightened it up. Then went back to basement by himself, and asked me to flush the toilet. I did, and I heard ""oh no"". Whatever he did made water GUSH out of the pipe! It was a mere leak before, now water was GUSHING out of the pipes. He then proceeds to provide a quote for $4400 to basically redo all of my bathroom plumbing. They couldn't get to it for a week. Meanwhile, I really don't have access to a shower. I stuck a piece of Flex Seal on where a crack had suddenly appeared in my pipe...after the guy had been down there for a while...and where the water was gushing from, which then allowed me to shower. I called in another plumber to get a second opinion. Within five minutes, he told me it was my toilet...which is what I thought it was, and fixed it for $250. His words to me...""it sounds like someone was taking advantage of a single female"".
So, single women, beware of this organization. A quote of $4400 ended up being a real cost of $250 by a trusted plumber.
i got a price quote from Noah's plumbing that DID NOT include a $15 maintenance fee. I was told by the owner that it is industry practice to tack on an extra $25 - $30 maintenance fee. Dishonest.
They get three stars because everything is working, now. The actual mechanics of getting things in properly was expertly done. Everything else was a mess. I called to get my whole house water filter (the whole unit) replaced. They suggested I also replace my water heater. (It was over 10 years old, so okay.) The first guy who came out knew nothing about the water filter. I showed him the new unit. When I got home, the water heater was replaced. The water filter was sitting where I left it, but the box was open showing that he obviously looked at it, but did nothing about installing it. No attempt was made to set up a follow-up time to do the work I originally needed. After a (for me) somewhat heated call to the owner, we scheduled the follow-up. The charge for the second visit was minimal, so I was going to let it go. But a few weeks later my furnace wasn't working. Thankfully, I'm mechanical enough to figure out that they just never turned the gas to the furnace back on after replacing the water heater. Not okay.
After refusing to complete the full task asked, I was charged more for ""time"" which was wasted. No effort was put I not correct the issue except letting me know I still owe for the time they spent not fixing the issue. This was all a back office issues, the technician was fine.
Joseph W.The workers were very professional and very polite. I would call david for anything. However they left a hole to my basement, I was lied to about the size of the tub with a response of ""oh well we measure from the wall to the outside of the tub"" it has a built in 2"" thick shower wall. They placed my shower on a sub flooring which they installed very well I have to say. But they left the rest of the molded bathroom floor in place, and they left my basement full of wood debris and tiles. They also ""drywalled"" around the corners of the tub but left the bare gypsum board over the shower with a drywall frame around it! The water heater they installed is nice if the family can all shower in 45 minutes time! They did all of this for the low low price of $5,300!!! ""The cost of materials is way high right now."" I would have done it myself if i would have heard the price before they started! Will never use again, very unhappy. They just give excuses when they hear complaints.
Noah of Noah's Plumbing and Heating came to service our furnace via our home warranty and I can't say enough about how professional he was! It was great service and we will be definitely be calling them again! He resolved an issue (a hose that was too long causing water build up) other plumbers hadn't been able to solve. Highly recommended!
We just purchased our home the end of January and had an issue recently with the pilot light continually going out. We have a home warranty through Home Warranty, Inc. which referred us to work with Noah's as a preferred provider. Well i should've know since the home warranty is a joke and will not cover any new appliances or pay labor and told us we have to go through the manufacturer direct.
So the technician we had was Keegan and he was out at our house both several times Monday afternoon & Tuesday morning after someone FINALLY got back to us from the office after calling several times Monday and leaving a message and then talking with Todd who didn't really seem lie he wanted to answer the phone or help. Keegan was great, he told us to call if we had further problems after he 1st installed a thermocoupling and then a gas valve. So once again, here we are on Wednesday afternoon with a pilot light that won't stay lit. I have called the office over 4 times so far today and left 2 messages.....still no return. I guess customer service isn't a priority because whoever is supposed to run the office must never be at their desk or check the voicemail! I would not recommend this company if anyone is needing work done in a timely manner. Apparently, needing hot water isn't a priority. If we could just go through our technician Keegan direct we would.
So now I am trying to call the manufacturer Richmond (Rheem) directly so they can replace our hot water heater because I'm tired of waiting on a company that I just paid $485 to want my business. At $90/hr for calls I would think they would be jumping at the chance to keep customers happy!
Furnace went out. Had Randy West HVAC came out and said unit was shot and needed replaced. Quoted $2600 for 92% system. I had warranty for $2500. Warranty company wanted second opinion and gave me Noah's plumbing. They said they could fix it and $1300 later they said they couldn't fix it and it needs replacement. They quoted $3100 for 92% system, $500 higher than Randy West HVAC not to mention they used up $1300 of my $2500 under warranty. Instead of paying $150 out of pocket, I'm out $1400 ($$1900) if I take Noah's $3100 estimate. Beware. If you want fair prices and treatment, call another HVAC company. As a Christian company, I expected better. Proverbs 21:2.
