Brand new Rheem 40gal gas water heater from Home Depot wouldn't light; it is the model that lights the pilot when it needs to heat (pilot isn't on all the time). Had Bernard from Noah's Plumbing (referred by Rheem customer service) come out and he quickly confirmed it was a defective pilot assembly (probably a blockage in the tiny feeder tube). He verified proper operation with a 50gal pilot assembly he had on his truck but didn't have a replacement 40gal unit. After finding out Rheem was out of stock on the 40gal. pilot assembly, I found one in So. Cal. and had it shipped. When it arrived, Bernard picked it up at my office and went over and installed it. Water heater finally fixed. On a positive note, Rheem did reimburse me the cost of the replacement pilot assembly.

Bernard not only knew the Rheem water heater inside and out, I was especially impressed with his troubleshooting skills; fast and efficient. He, without a doubt, saved Rheem from a costly warranty replacement in this case. If you have a Rheem water heater with a problem, don't call anyone else, call Noah's Plumbing and ask for Bernard.

Similar to other reviews, I have a Rheem water heater from Home Depot and the pilot went out. Rheem submitted the service request to Noah's Plumbing and Bernard contacted me even before the part arrived. Absolutely Great! service and a person you feel is honest, trustworthy and professional. We had a Rheem water heater quit working over the New Year holiday. The manufacturer said they would contact Noah's Plumbing for us and have everything taken care of through warranty. Well, Rheem dropped the ball but thank goodness Bernard at Noah's Plumbing, came through. Bernard is awesome! He kept in constant communication with me and had hot water in our home the very next day. Water Heaters now require sensors and valves that are computer controlled all in the name of safety and energy savings. I purchased a new Rheem Water Heater from Home Depot that simply wouldn't light the burner. The gas line was fine, the exhaust vent was open but no burner action. Benard arrived from Noah's Plumbing and isolated the problem. He made the necessary adjustments and the water heater burner now lights correctly. How could something like this ever leave the Rheem factory? Does Rheem test each water heater? I assume NO after this issue.

Clearly, Benard saved Rheem a sale, period. End of Story.

Called around 9am regarding my water heater. Seems the thermocouple went defective overnight. Result, no hot water! Bernard was on another job and called back promptly. He mentioned he probably had the part and would text me when he was on the way. An hour and a half later I received the text and within 20 minutes he had arrived. Service was friendly, quick and professional. Cost was reasonable. It doesn't get much better than that. Highly recommended!
