An absolute life-saver! I had a two month old new RUUD water heater fail in my disabled mother and father in law's home and Bernard took time out of his schedule to stop by on his way back from another job to take a look. If you have elderly or disabled family members, you know how big of a problem this can be. In 35-45 minutes Bernard had the problem fixed and we were up and running. This was after a complete meltdown by the original so-called licensed company that installed it last November. They sent a tech out the day before and he said what I already new, ""yeah, the pilot doesn't ingite, I'll place a service order with the manufacturer."" He just passed the buck off to the manufacturer and said basically ""that's all we can do here.""

If you ever need a new water heater, or service on an existing one, this is your guy. He had the part in his truck, knew what was wrong and found two other things the original company had done wrong on the installation! I can't thank Bernard enough, he actually took the time out of his busy dayt to listen to me describe my problem. 5 stars many times over.

I had the pleasure to work with Bernard of Noah's Plumbing and I must say he was very easy going, easy to talk to, and he has ~20+ years experience in plumbing. More than that, he has people to call when in need to harness 30+ more years of experience. A place to turn for that kind of resources is very valuable, because time is money and he gets results. I had a very positive experience working with him on replacing a water heater, he went above and beyond the call of duty because of my unique circumstances. My 1st experience with Noah's plumbing was last year when we needed a repair to our Rheem water heater. We'd had several plumbers come out to fix it but no one had figured out what was wrong. I went back and forth with Bernard by text for a couple of days. Sending videos of the lights and sounds of our water heater. With that he knew what he needed to do and was able to get it repaired. Flash forward a year later again having problems with this water heater. I called him and he walked me through possible causes over the phone. When I asked him if he would do the work. He referred me back to our original plumber. Bernards work ethic, integrity and knowledge makes him a true expert. Thank you for all your help!

My brand new Rheem water heater was DOA. After I installed it, the pilot light would not stay on. Rheem technical support tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone, said they would send me a replacement part, shipping the next day, and an installer would be contacting me to replace the part. I called back early the next morning to confirm the part was shipped only to find that part was out of stock! The Rheem tech said he would authorize a replacement work order and put me in touch with a local plumber to handle it. This is where Bernard comes in. He's the Rheem man for the South Bay. Rheem gave me the number for Noah's Plumbing (Noah is his eldest son, BTW) and said they would contact me within 24 hours. I IMMEDIATELY called Noah's Plumbing after getting off the phone with Rheem and luckily Bernard was able to squeeze me in 3 hours later. Now how lucky is that!

Bernard started by troubleshooting the problem and found the pilot light does light but it doesn't stay on, nor does the blue light in the front of the control unit light up. He could have waited for the part to ship and leave me without hot water for a few days, but since Rheem authorized a replacement, we took that route. I called Home Depot to confirm they had my model on the floor. Bernard detached the unit, put it on his truck, and he and I went to Home Depot to get the replacement.

Within 2 hours from Bernard arriving to my house, I had a brand new, WORKING water heater in place. The speed of service was better than I expected. Sure my DOA Rheem tank really pissed me off, but in the end I was happy to be without hot water for only a day.

Bernard was knowledgable, personable, and just seemed like a cool dude! He's the owner and the technician so you deal directly with the CEO, CFO, COO, and the guy that sweeps up after the job. No BS. Not sure if charges an arm and a leg, but at least you know you're working directly with the guy in charge.

My 97 year old Aunt had a newly installed water heater that was leaking. Rheem, the manufacturer referred me to Noahs Plumbing. It had been poorly installed by a different plumber. Noah replaced the part and did not charge my Aunt a thing and said Merry Christmas. Need I say more. THANK YOU NOAH!

It is the first time I'm writing ""No Five Stars review""


Maybe I'm the one had not satisfied experience with him. Nice talk on the phone conversation, somehow his behavior was like ""I don't want to take care of your case, it's not my problem."" when he visited my house.

Minus one star; he suggested anti-legal modification: later I figured out there is the legal requirement.

Minus one star: didn't cleanup after checking, set up the temp at the most highest point (which manual states human will get burning in less than 1 sec).

Minus one star: ""You want to blame someone"" ""I don't read a manual of water heater"" These are sentences he was saying to me. I felt he doesn't want to help me, It disappointed me.

So I'm giving him two Stars.

Had a leaky roman tub faucet. Called 4 plumbers. 3 of them did not want to touch it, claiming they would need to remove the tub to fix the faucet. The 4th call got me to Noah's plumbing. He responded promptly and I made an appointment with him. He came by and diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. No need to look elsewhere. Very professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced.

These guys helped us out of a broken water heater jam. Nice people, competent plumbers and not trying to sell you stuff you don't need. We needed a warranty repair on a 5-year-old water heater. It was still in pretty good shape but needed a new pilot/burner unit. We called another plumber first who seemed to have one goal in mind: Sell us a brand new water heater so we didn't have to hassle with the warranty repair. It would have cost $1600 for the standard installation and $2600 for the ""deluxe"" deal that sounded like it included an extended warranty (for $1000!).
So we called manufacturer and they confirmed we're under warranty and gave us Noah's Plumbing info. We called and he had the part in stock and came that same day to do the repair. Total cost to us: $225 for the labor (warranty covered only parts).
Noah's is a small shop--just the owner and maybe a few others. He really cares about his customers--personal commitment to satisfaction. VERY different from the big guys (Mike Counsil, for example). Only possible issue is availability. If he's the only guy, then if he gets behind on another job before you he's going to be late. That happened to us, but in the end we couldn't have been happier.
