I had Terrible experience with RO installation. They cut costs by sending untrained guys for installation (not licensed plumbers) who don't even know the code.

The guy who installed RO at my house was not a licensed plumber. He connected the waste water drain after the P-Trap of kitchen sink drain(pic attached), which is illegal, dangerous and against the code. It can cause sever gases to come in contact with RO filters which is very risky.

Luckily I noticed and called them. They apologized, and told they will come over to fix, and they will send a licensed plumber who knows what he's doing. A guy showed up after 3 days, and this time again they sent a service guy (again, no licensed plumber) who left P-Trap under my kitchen sink leaking, and I had to call them a third time. Horrible experience end to end.

But, buyers, beware, this is not a trustworthy company. Save your money, call your licensed plumber to install RO.

Great overall service with knowledgeable, friendly people. I have never had a home water softener before, but it became necessary with Ridgewood's hard water. Tim came out to my house and explained the options available to me. He went through the options very objectively with no overselling and we had a good conversation about them. Very professional guy. The technician who came to my house was also very efficient and professional and was careful to minimize any potential mess. Install was fast and clean. Great service.

When we moved in the house had no softener or water filtration. As the village (Ridgewood) has hard ground water a softener is recommended. We got several quotes from installers. Tim at NMP came out and talked it all through thoroughly. I'm an engineer and worked with large hotel sized water treatment systems on ships so was pleased he stuck to the science of water treatment vs marketing bling. The crew he sent did a great install of a softener and reverse osmosis filter for drinking water. Really neat and they even put in a couple of extra shut off valves for me at no cost.

When I needed a new hot water boiler after ours started leaking, I called Tim and he had a new one installed the next day (so not just water softeners!)

After Service since then has been very reliable and easy (salt delivery etc) Can't recommend them more highly.

I don't review often but really felt the need to write a review because of how impressed we have been with NMP Water Systems. Tim, the owner, is great to work with -- super up front, knowledgeable, flexible, competitively priced, and very professional. The installation was a little complicated in our house (having to snake through ceilings, drill through beams, etc.) but Tim and his team made everything as easy and seamless as possible. We just got the system so hopefully it lives up to our expectations but so far the experience has been very positive as the team went above and beyond.

These guys are the best, priced around and NMP Water Systems were straight shooters, didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I will highly recommend NWP Water Systems. Very affordable and they gave me a 10 year warrantee on everything. The installers came on time and as you can see in the picture, they did a GREAT GREAT job. No one does work like this.
