I would give this company 0 stars if I could. They were assigned to service my a/c through American Home Shield (AHS), who apparently have an arrangement with this company to take advantage of their customers. They told me my unit needed freon, which is not covered by AHS, so I had to write them a check for $500, then they said I needed a blower motor which needed to be ordered. He never responded to my texts or e-mails after that (and cashing it immediately), and AHS denied the claim because his report said the unit smoked when they put it on and it was not working because of a power surge, which is not covered in my contract, both of which were an outright lie. AHS offered me a 2nd opinion, but when they couldn't find another company a week later, they said that they then revert to the 1st opinion which was to deny the claim, but i could pay out-of-pocket $590 for the part. AHS kept telling me they were communicating with him and that the part was ordered, then back-ordered. After full month, I canceled my contract with AHS and brought in an outside HVAC company. They told me my freon was empty and and the blower motor was working fine. BOTH OF THESE COMPANIES ARE A SCAM!! Stay away from American Home Shield and NJ HVAC and Plumbing!!

I wish I can give zero rating for this business. This guy came over via American Home shield and said everything fixed and the problem re appeared the next day. Since one month I am trying to set up a followup appoint via AHS. Since AHS does not pay again for followup appointments he is ghosting me. This is a scam company and I do not know why AHS still trying to work with such BS contractors

this business is a fraud!! just try and call them! no answer always a busy signal!!! this is where ahs and chris from
nj hvac and plumbing plan their
nefarious action plans!! chris the so called tech of nj hvac and plumbing is a lier as well as the scammers from ahs!

they are paying for high ratings so you think they are good people to do business with!!! Chris was sent to our home by
AHS (American Home Shield) do not sign up with these Fraudulent LIERS!! Do not use NJ HVAC and Plumbing THEY ARE A FRAUD COMPANY AS WELL and defraud along with AHS!! Chris told us our entire AC System needed replacing and then four days later LIED to AHS so they didn't have to pay us!!
I have since FIXED what CHRIS STATED IN WRITING needs to be replaced at a cost of over $12,000!!
These people Chris and AHS should be ARRESTED for FRAUD!!
