Our water heater was pouring steam out of the side, midday on a Sunday. Mike was very responsive and had Chan come out to take a look within an hour. They were very transparent in their quote and had the whole thing replaced the next day, including a suggested safety upgrade on the gas line shut off and taking the old water heater away. They were very fast, friendly and professional.

Called this company at 3:30 because my kid flushed something he wasn't supposed to and clogged the toilet, Night and Weekend had someone at my location by 5pm on the dot. Chan was a solid worker who was in and out and fixed my problem with no issue. Reasonably priced, quick, responsive, and friendly. Highly recommend

SCAM ALERT. I just don't understand why my experience was so different from that of the others who wrote reviews, but maybe some of these are fakes. I really do hate to leave a review this negative. That being said, I want to save someone unwary...

Mike or the owner sent out a technician (or a friend or someone) to my home who clearly was not a licensed plumber. He didn't seem to know what was going on with my water heater, but texted pictures to ""his friend."" ""His friend"" didn't reply so he kept stalling, asking intrusive personal questions. He eventually decided the pilot light was out (my unit doesn't have a pilot light, I later found out. There simply isn't one there).

The owner later followed up saying that he could tell from the pictures that I would need a new water heater, that he just installed one like it at the Oakland Airport (?!) and that it would cost $16,000-$18,000. Yeah, no, I wasn't born yesterday.

So long story short we got the problem sorted out for free by talking to a friendly PG&E tech and my stepdad. Avoid this company at all costs. Please don't fall for this scam.

We had a plumbing emergency at 6:20am Monday morning--a broken valve and water gushing unstoppably into our bathroom. I called Mike at Night & Weekend Plumber and Handyman Service. He answered the phone right away and had a plumber at our house in 20 minutes.

Problem solved shortly after that.

I'm putting their phone number in my contacts for the next time I have a plumbing emergency that has to be dealt with right away.

I've been sitting on this review for a while because I was really so disappointed with humanity. In December, I had COVID and was not staying at my house so as not to expose my roommates who work in healthcare. Unfortunately, the garbage disposal stopped working. It would turn on but then the breaker would trip, and the same thing would repeat after flipping the breaker and pressing the re-set button on the garbage disposal. To be honest, I went with this company because of the good reviews (putting my faith in Yelp) and because of same day service. I was provided quotes through text after explaining what was happening: $225 if repaired without replacing, $475-575 to replace (not sure why the range), an extra $175 if they needed to clear the plumbing line. Not having the time or energy to shop around, and because they offered same day repairs, I went with this company.
They gave me an arrival time (11--12) and showed up at 1:38 with no notice, only informing me of the delay after I reached out to them. I coordinated to let them in the house. At 1:55 I received a reply text from my tenant that the technician had already left some minutes before. Her quote, ""he wasn't even here 15 minutes"". Later that day I received a text message bill for $725 which was $25 off $750 for being a new customer. I am no plumber but I did not understand how you can assess a malfunctioning garbage disposal, snake a plumbing line, and replace it with a new one all in approximately 10-12 minutes. When I contacted Mike inquiring he said he needed to speak with the tech. Later the price was reduced to $450 (supposedly the line did not need to be cleared after all ).
Here are my problems:
1. They arrived very late with no notice
2. After my experience, I do not trust that they actually attempted to see if my garbage disposal was reparable, nor do I trust that they did anything to clear the drain; also, I should have been informed of any findings prior to the work being done and was not informed until I complained about being charged $750 for 10-15 minutes of labor
3. I feel like this company tried to take advantage of the situation with me not being there and the tech perhaps not knowing someone was in the home.
4. A replacement garbage disposal is around $150 ($750-150=$600). So, counting in approximately 15 minutes of drive time (with the 10-15 minutes of work) this company tried to charge me what amounts to $1200/hour for labor from a ""tech"" not even a licensed plumber. I understand companies in the Bay Area get away with this stuff, but that doesn't make it ethical.

Mike was responsive to my complaints and came to some resolution but the experience was spoiled.

I hate to give bad reviews but this left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Mike was awesome! Super sweet, professional, and skilled (and great with dogs). He was able to squeeze us in the same day that I called and he fixed our broken garbage disposal with ease. Will definitely use his services moving forward as should anyone else reading this review! Easiest five-star rating I've ever given.

Our downstairs bathroom was flooded from a leak in the wall. I called another plumber and they were booked until 12/26. Then I called Mike and he was really helpful. I sent him pictures and he came over the next day and fixed the leak within an hour. I highly recommend Mike. He was very reliable and punctual.

Mike was amazing and completely saved the day for us. We woke up in the morning with a toilet that started overflowing and flooding our home. After cleaning up the mess, we called Mike who was incredibly responsive and showed up within an hour and half. Knowing how busy he must have been, his accessibility was amazing and we were so appreciative. He was friendly and warm, and fixed the problem within about 10 minutes. Mike really saved the day for us and I can't recommend him enough! Hopefully we won't need more plumbing help anytime soon, but if we do, Mike is definitely our first call!

Mike removed an old bathroom sink faucet and replaced it with a new one. He encountered some complex challenges in the process due to the fact that I live in an old building with the original pipes that are problematic. Using his extensive experience and a big dose of creativity, he diagnosed what appeared to be an intractable problem and resolved it beyond my expectations. In addition to the bathroom sink, Mike also worked on my kitchen sink faucet that had been poorly installed and leaked. He quickly diagnosed the problem and worked diligently on fixing it. He has a pleasant persona and is an excellent communicator.

I was completely satisfied with the end results and would highly recommend Mike if you have a plumbing problem that needs top-notch results.
