Niedergeses Landscape is by far one of the most professional landscaping companies I have come across as a home owner. I am not a native to Tennessee but I have had my share of landscapers from mediocre to complete incompetence. Niedergeses Landscape was recommended to me for there drainage expertise. After going to there website I noticed that they do everything from drainage, maintenance, landscape and hardscape. I found this appealing because it was a ""one-stop-shop."" Im not a fan of having work done from different vendors because from my experience some vendors are meticulous and others are not. Those types of workflows will not work especially for my wife and I where we are meticulous about everything we do.
I called Niedergeses Landscape for a consultation and made an appointment. This is where is all starts. Jayme Niedergeses (the owner) showed up on time (which is a plus). My wife and myself included do not handle tardiness very well, its unprofessional. Jayme responded on time but not only that he exited his company vehicle which is wrapped in vinyl representing his logo and brand. He arrived in a company uniform, ipad in hand and ready to take notes about every like and dislike I have about my property, what I wanted changed and so forth. I am very open-minded to others opinion so after discussing my concerns and goals, Jayme went to work noting every conceivable detail, measurements and photos.
My project actually was conducted in phases. I like to see how a vendor performs before I make a commitment. So the first Phase was drainage and lighting. Jayme submitted a plan and quote and then we proceeded. His crew arrived on time. Actually they arrived earlier then expected, got there gear ready and started on time. This was an every day occurrence. Oh, before I forget. Niedergeses drops off a portable-potty for his crew. Now this was a plus. I cannot tell you how many times in my past that I caught vendors employees using the curbside or my tree beds as their personal toilet. Jayme assured me that no staff member will ever bother us (the homeowner) for bathroom breaks. When I saw that I knew who I was dealing with, a true professional.
Jaymes crew worked on my property and were able to solve my drainage issues bc after the work was completed I had no more water issues. The lighting that they did was amazing. It truly brought our home to life. Trenches were dug up approx 6-8 inches deep for the wires and connected professionally. I had nothing but compliments are the look of out home.
Once this was completed we decided to have Niedergeses Landscape create a flower bed on the side of our house to hide the AC/Heater, gas lines and crawl space entrance. They completed that in one day and looks amazing.
I feel that next year we will be calling upon Niedergeses Landscape to work on our backyard. To show full transparency Niedergeses is not the cheapest but not the most expensive. You have to look at this way. You get what you pay for. I have had vendors at my home working where I had to babysit them all day and I was unable to accomplish anything that I had to do. With Niedergeses Landscape and crew you can leave your home with no worries. They came, worked and left without leaving a single piece of debris. The best money I have spent because the job was completed and it was done right. I want to thank Jayme and his crew for everything they have done with our property. Looks great guys. Your the best.

Terrible. My next door neighbor and I had drainage problems so had to have work done at the same time. He chose this guy. They put in a drain system with 3 inlets. Elevation was wrong so didn't drain properly. They sank one of the 3 which partially fixed the issue. Then 2 of the 3 boxes floated. Owner recommended I weight them down with a rock. Was arrogant, resistant to make the work right so I eventually paid someone else to fix everything. Would NEVER use them again!!!!

Update August 2019. In disbelief because despite my complaints and after requesting they remove me from their mailing list I STILL get junk mail from them all the time. Obviously they are TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS!!!

Careful, folks.

They take your money quickly, do the initial work..then forget you. The ""one year plant guaranty?"" Don't kid yourself.

I've been waiting a couple of months for my plant replacement since hearing the "" we'll do it in the next two or three weeks"". The funniest lie was ""we are out of your plants but will do it next week.""

These guys just want the new up front cash customer. After that they're not so quite interested in you.

Shame on you Jayme. Now you are not returning my texts. Are you to busy getting those cash buyers to service the guarantee customers?

Spent $9,000 on a drainage job and said he could put feeders in which he never did. The fellows went too far tearing up the ground and after I called, they said yeah, yeah, yeah, I told them and they will put seed down where they weren't suppose to dig. No apology. One of the days I drove in the driveway and both fellows hopped up from sitting and pretended to start working. They weren't very well supervised. Also, I had a rock pathway and after tearing through it they just put grass seed down totally ignoring the path that was there.All in all, I still have a water problem but it just drains a different way. Will not use again.

Jamie and his crew put in an automatic watering system at our farm in the winter of 2016. When we turned the system on this spring, there was a leak to the tune of 371 gallons of water being lost a day per the water company. Repeated calls to Jamie went unanswered and we could not seem to get him to come out an address the problem which was surprising as he had been so helpful when the project initially began. It seems to us that once the project was complete, he just wanted to walk away and not stand behind the work he did. It was and remains very disappointing.

Niedergeses does NOT honor their warranty. The company did not properly install the underground gutter drains. Nor did they replace plants that was under their warranty. Fast to come out and give a bid and collect money but not responsive in correcting problems. We did not want hedges but got hedges because we were not knowledgeable of the different plants. When they did come out, they looked around and even wrote down what plants died that needed replacing but never showed back up.

In February of this year we contacted Jayme Neidergese to get a bid on landscape design for our newly constructed home. He was initially very attentive and came up with a beautiful design for our property. Once we had paid in full, however, his approach changed greatly. We had multiple plants die and are supposed to be covered under a one year warranty. I have been attempting for the last 5 months to get Jayme and his crew to hold up this warranty and replace the plants and continue to get the runaround. My landscaping remains full of dead plants/shrubs and I still cannot get scheduled on his calendar for replacements. We spent nearly $10,000 with this company and this is the worst customer service I had ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and run far far away from this company.

Jaye was prompt regarding my calls and was very clear about costs and services. I would use Niedergeses Landscape again!
