We ordered a new dishwasher from Costco and they used Nickson for installation. We received a call the night before, and the guys were on time. Installation was quick and correct and I couldn't be happier.

if you buy from lowes or costco, they use this service company, request your own plumber or install company, theyll give you a credit of $150-$200.00 have your own installer, very unreliable, the ladies are very nice, but absolutely useless. they subbed out my job to another installation clown from monmouth junction, that never showed up or had the decency to return my calls

Lowes subbed to Nickson for dishwasher appliance install.
- Showed up two hours after scheduled install window; no communication.
- Charged extra amount on top of paid for installation cost, without prior authorization; no receipt left. Lowes unwilling to justify extra cost.
- Installation of appliance baseboard was obviously wrong; when pointed out, responded with ""yeah I get that a lot - that's the way it is though"". It wasn't - I fixed it after they left.
- Installer shut off hot water and natural gas (... why?), which wasn't discovered until after they left.
- Trash left in yard.

I would give them Zero stars if I could!!!! This company is horrible. They run a $%&# show over there and don't know what they are doing. I purchased a product from Lowes and over a month later the product is still not installed.
I had to take off work three times to get them to do the installation and then the last time they were scheduled they told me I had to pay more money on top of what I already paid or they wouldn't do the installation. I said, ""why didn't you tell me this a month ago when I first had someone out to the house to do the installation""?
I have called them numerous times and they don't answer and don't call back. When they finally do answer.. there is a dog barking and child crying in the background.
Also, the last time I called they couldn't find my name or account in the system (and they had already been out to the house twice with unfinished work). It took them 45 minutes to locate my account and they finally found it under some other person's name... that I never heard of! Ridiculous.
I think the issue with this company is that when they began to get more clients through Lowes they were not able to handle the amount of clients. They did not have enough qualified installers and the front desk didn't have a clue. Finally, I ended up getting someone else to do the installation with a lot less hassle. Don't shop Lowes for installation if they are using Nickson (Nixon) Home Services... and NEVER independently choose to use this company. You will most likely be disappointed.

WISH I COULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS FOR THIS REVIEW !

Ordered kitchen appliances from Lowe's not knowing that they use this ""installation company"" for their installs!
- Things started off bad when I get a text & voicemail telling me when they will be out to install the microwave WITHOUT checking if I will be home.... STRIKE #1
- SEVERAL calls made by my fiancée and myself to reschedule and either they DO NOT answer or voicemail is full.... STRIKE #2
- FINALLY get ahold of a person and get a date of 11/2 between 1-5pm for install (fiancée had to take a NO PAY day to be home).... By 8:30pm NO call, NO text, No show, NO PAID FOR APPLIANCES.... STRIKE #3
- We were told previously that they only deliver on Tuesdays and Fridays in our area (Just outside Philly) NO WEEKEND DELIVERIES... STRIKE #4
- a call to Lowe's installation center to see what the status of our appointment is and get hung up on AFTER 48 MINUTES ON HOLD......
AVOID LOWE'S AND NICKSON LIKE A BAD BLIND DATE!!!!!

*Update*
It's 11/1. No dishwasher. Now Nickson is claiming that it was supposed to be delivered to me by Costco rather than they deliver it. Never mind the fact I have the receipts that say otherwise. Nor was it ever mentioned when I spoke to them last week. I don't think I've ever dealt with such an inept business.

Ordered a dishwasher from Costco to be installed on 10/28 between 1:30-5:30. No on called or arrived. I called at 5:30 and was told the installer was still on their way after another customer. I called again at 7:30 and left a message. Called again at 9:30 and left a message. Called on 10/29 at 9am (time of opening) and left a message. Called again at 10:30 and left a message. Called again at 11 and FINALLY got someone to pick up the phone. No explanation as to what went wrong and the ""best"" they can do is reschedule for 11/1. Absurd. The biggest problems are the lack of anyone calling me to let me know that they would be late, let alone need to reschedule. I will be recommending that Costco no longer use their services.

Horrible....they are an installer for Lowes here in south jersey. So they install a dishwasher that leaks on Tuesday, I ask them to come back and please schedule the morning or EOD so I don't have to burn more work time....they then schedule a window of 11AM to 3PM!

When asked why...""do you know how many technicians our routing system has to schedule over X installations, we can't just go in and change....blah, blah, blah?"". ANSWER: No I don't, I'm just a customer looking for you to install a working appliance!

I purchased a dishwasher through Lowe's and unfortunately Nickson was contracted out to deliver and install it. They started off fine calling to schedule but it declined from there. They did not respond to phone calls and I had to call several times to get responses. The day of they never showed or called. I contacted them and they finally answered and blamed Lowe's for being behind and said toward the end of the 4hour window. That window came and went. I couldn't get ahold of them nor could Lowe's. I cancelled the entire purchase. Not even bothering to reschedule with such an unreliable company.

This review is about their Installation through LOWES. NOT enough room to type every mishap but they were given 3 opportunities to put in a dishwasher in my mothers home, and they BIGLY FAILED ALL 3 Opportunities. Their phone and return call system is a hot mess and when they know you are calling they decline to answer your call ( I was informed they have caller ID, so if you choose to use them, have multiple numbers available to call from.) WORST INSTALLERS EVER ENCOUNTERED.BEWARE!!!

Main problem: THEY SET DATES AND TIMES THEY CANT KEEP. Had to return the dishwasher meant for my Mother. She was getting WAAY too stressed. So was I. I would give them MINUS stars, If that was an option.

So I understand a lot of folks had a bad experience. It's possible they had a bad tech or someone who didn't take care, but I felt I had to put up a review since we had the complete opposite experience.

We had a dishwasher and microwave delivered and installed by these guys and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. We had a 4 hour window for their arrival and they came 30 min early! Almost too good to be true but they came early, installed everything correctly, tested everything out to make sure there weren't any leaks and couldn't have been more courteous. Whoever was working the South Philly route on 8/10/2021, great job!

This was via a purchase from Lowe's.
