So after almost 20 years since I last redid my bathroom, the sink faucet was showing it's wear and wouldn't shut tight, thus a leaky faucet. Totally inevitable. I can do some handyman work around the house, but when it comes to plumbing, I try and not push my luck. There's definitely a discipline to it, as everything has to be flush and exact. Or else more leaks. Since this was a smaller job, that really wasn't an emergency, I didn't want to hire a big time plumbing company. Looked on Yelp and found this local tradesman who spent some time working in construction, but decided to just be on his own. Totally respectable. I gave it a whirl and was satisfied with the work rendered.

Started with a few texts along with some pictures of the existing faucet. I got an estimate, agreed and it took about another 5 days for actual work. As it turns out it cost almost the same to just replace the whole faucet set, as it is to replace just the worn out piece. Super typical. So I approved for him to already bring a new faucet with him, giving him my budget. If you are picky about the looks of your hardware, you may have to get more involved with him in picking out the style that works for you.

Day of repair, we go to turn off the main under the sinks. Since all the hardware was pushing 20 years old without any handling, all the valves were stuck because of corrosion. This also is quite normal. I just should of been more prepared for it and asked about it, because we ended up having to replace the tubes and valves under the sink as well, which added another $100 to the estimate. It was due and I was just relieved that he had all that with him, versus making another appointment or going back to the store.

Everything took about an hour, so quite efficient. He didn't chat until everything was over, which I totally appreciated. He worked very clean and organized. I've hired people in the past that were just nightmares to deal with, like mad attention deficit syndrome. But not Nick, he was focused and on track to finish a job.

So not really any cheaper than a few other plumbers I also called, but I'm just glad that he was local, so he knew the plumbing that was built in our area. And the fact that he fixed the issue in one try, just has to be noted. I have his number in my phone now. Relieved to have this resource on my side.

Nick was really fast with responses, and his quotes were among the best. Due to circumstances I was not able to proceed but wanted to recognize his quick responses. I would certainly consider Nick for different works that will have to be done later time.

Showed up an hour late ,and he was shaking . His free estimate ( On Thumbtack) changed to a $75 service call .

Charged me $175 and did not get the drain clear.

Offered to come back tonight and Hydro cut for an additional $500.

I do not recommend this company and I was totally disappointed and felt robbed.

I had mission city come out the next
day And they cleared the drain by sneaking under the sink.

No broken pipes!

Long due for a review. Living in an old house with other roommates, I keep encountering issues left and right with plumbing. From toilets leaking to the water heater breaking, the past few months have been unbearably stressful for me. I was already scrunching the numbers in my head as I dreaded the idea of having to pay thousands of dollars to have to deal with repairs.

My first few attempts at contacting plumbers around the area fell flat; most of them didn't respond, charged ridiculously exorbitant prices, or never even arrived. Then I contacted Nick, and I swear he makes things so much more bearable. He's down-to-earth, professional, honest, and really goes out of his way to explain the issue in detail. Every question I had, he answered - something I really appreciate since I want to be able to prevent more stuff from occurring. He tells me how much it will be so I can mentally prepare myself for the upcoming bill, and the prices are surprisingly not too bad. He's also extremely punctual, unlike a lot of other people I've contacted; if he says he'll be there at 8:00 AM, he IS going to come - prepared.

I'm extremely happy and grateful towards him, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs to get something fixed, and fast.

Nick was awesome we spoke over the phone he squeeze me in his busy schedule on so short notice. He gave me a time and was great on communicating with me when he would be arriving my home. Nick tried helping me spend less but sometimes that's just not the case. Nick did a great job, was done quickly and provided an honest quote on pricing- after he finished his work he even cleaned up (which I totally would have been fine to do!) I'm just happy to have my unclogged sink back!! He even gave us tips and how to help avoid clogs!
I'd recommend and use him again for any future jobs.
