I don't know if I caught him on an off day. He quoted $70 for fixing a clogged toilet bowl on the phone. When he got to my place, he said it'll be a 100. We agreed on $70 (Yelp has a deal listed $50 for $60 for this business). He fixed the clog in no time, which is great. I did not have change to pay him, I only had 20s. So he offered to tighten the toilet seat for $10. I asked him if he could do the rest of the toilet seats as well. At this point he should have mentioned that it would cost more. Once he was done he says it was $10 for each toilet seat. That is a ripoff! Also, he should have made it clear that he would charge $10 per seat before doing the job.

As I said earlier, I may have caught him on an off day (given the other glowing reviews he has). But, he sure tried to nickel and dime me, and that is not very professional.

Nick is a great guy to deal with! Very friendly and professional at the same time. A broken flush in one of the toilet and a broken seat in the other toilet. Nick came and fixed it with ease. Also as an added bonus looked into the heater which was having some problems starting up. I am amazed by the amazing range of skills Nick possess. Very prompt in picking the phone and responding too! Cant ask for anything better!

Nick installed a couple heavy mirrors and completed other minor tasks around my house. I could not be happier with the work he did. Before he left, he asked if everything was satisfactory and if there were any other issues he could look at around the house, which is greatly appreciated. Very thorough! Prompt with calls and text communication.
He was called in for a few hours - to install a window awning,security door and replace a couple of faucets. However, he identified other critical plumbing issues and accomodated them.

We will call him for future projects.

Jackpot! I feel like I won the lottery- better than being in the grocery store and walking right up to the checkstand with no line!!!! When does this happen- like never! But oh it did- sent a text to Nick, said: need ceiling fan taken down new one put up, how much. Now it is Sunday evening and low and behold I get a phone call- it's Nick himself! We have a brief exchange, he gives me the price- which I immediately felt was fair. He asks so when do I want this done? Yea I said it.... I said like now? But then I said well ASAP- he said now works- bam- texted him my addy- shortly there after he shows up, dressed in an identifiable ""Nick's Quick fix work shirt, carried a tool box with everything he needed. Bonus**** he is personable, cool, positive, upbeat and very friendly! What more can a single mom ask for? Fair and honest gentleman! Oh and by the way he is licensed and bonded! Ima get my list ready!
