He's EXTREMELY thorough, pleasant, and honest, and for some reason his price was still the same or less than the other three quotes (from distinctly less awesome plumbers) that I got for redoing all the plumbing in our bathroom/laundry room remodel.

Nick also happily explained to me what he was doing (I wanted to learn), and he was extremely pleasant company and a quietly funny guy. I like him very much personally in addition to being very happy with his services.

I'd hire him again in a heartbeat and would absolutely recommend him.

Nick is a gem. He did major work on an old house we bought - all the water and gas, plus installing fixtures. He's very skilled, very professional, and very friendly. He knows the ins and outs of the SF plumbing codes and has good ideas about how to make things work. I'll definitely use him in the future.

Nick did some work for our condo conversion.
We had 3 or 4 people come in to give us bids and Nick was by far the most reasonably priced, prompt and efficient. He gave us good advice and was true to his quote, which was cheaper than others.

The other plumbers tried to scare us into doing thousands of dollars of other work on top of the items we needed to have done for condo conversion.

Nick's a good guy for major work. He provided a bid up front saying how much the work would be, came on time, fixed all the problems with our faucets, etc., and put in a new water heater without damaging anything or scratching the hardwood. (His brother came to help.) And he's friendly.

My friend with a fixer-upper has used him a lot and swears by him. The only minus is he sometimes isn't so good about returning a voicemail message, but you can reach him pretty easily on his cell. He doesn't do clogged drains, if I understand correctly.

He travels outside San Bruno... we are located in San Francisco.
