If I could give them 100 stars I would. I listed my house for sale last week and this week noticed a whiff of sewer odor emanating from the bathroom. Yesterday, thinking it was just a wax ring I had someone pull the toilet. Wrong! Underneath was a crumbling lead pipe, beyond my handyman's scope of practice. I called Nichols Plumbing this morning and talked to Bob. and explained the situation. He graciously rearranged his appointments to be able to come out this morning and assess the situation, give me a bid and do the job. He and Josh were very thoughtful about following COVID precautions, protecting the carpets, making as small a hole as possible in the sheet rock (and creating a access) as well as taking care to not let the pets out as they went back and forth. To top it all off I feel their price was quite fair. I am so fortunate to have found this company and highly recommend them!

Bob is a true professional. He's done several different jobs for us over the past 3 years. He always promptly answers and returns calls. Great service and always able to resolve our issues. A friend recommended Nichols Plumbing when I had a plumbing emergency. I had a leak at the water meter and he fixed it for less than I expected. Bob found that someone had used the wrong part in the past to try to do a repair. Anyway, he saved the day!

I found him to be nice, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He listened and didn't try to up-sell me work that I didn't need. This really is plumbing that makes sense! I will definitely call him the next time I need a plumber. I highly recommend Nichols Plumbing

Terrible customer service. I requested to have water run to a washer/dryer combo unit and he showed up and didn't have the right info from our phone call. Said he thought I was doing something with a sink.

Then he told me the job was impossible. I tried to inquire about alternate solutions and he proceeded to tell me all the reasons I don't get it. No alternate solutions, no helpful suggestions (actually he did mention maybe I could hire a handyman to help me solve this?)

Anyway basically It seemed like he didn't want to do the job before he got there, as his feedback was that I'm completely screwed and it can't happen.

Side note: There is an upstairs sink already set up for plumbing we can probably modify for the washer/dryer, btw. Didn't think of it until afterwards but if he had pursued alternate solutions that surely would've occurred to me. But he didn't try to be helpful at all. Boo.

Bob and his team are great to work with. We discovered a leak and Bob came out that day and gave us a bid. Because of how our house was originally plumbed, it turned out to be a large and expensive job, but Bob's quote was more than fair (I got a couple of other estimates for comparison) and he made room on his schedule to get us taken care of quickly. Bob and his team were very professional, very clean, and the work they did is great. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I will use them again in the future if we need it.

We had the water main between the street and the house spring a major leak and Bob came out with a quick bid and got the ball rolling right away after I accepted the bid. A few days later we were back in action with a whole new water line from the street to basement and it works perfectly and just passed inspection this morning. Super nice guy, nice crew, and now I know exactly who I'll call when I have other plumbing needs.

Bob was referred to me by a work colleague. I needed some help with the anti-scald settings on the showers in our bathroom. It wasn't of the highest priority, but Bob came quickly assessed the situation and did great work. While he was there, he also took a quick look at the rest of the house's setup. He was extremely professional and nice. Nichols will Plumbing will be my first call if I ever need any future work.
