I had a problem with my kitchen sink. The drain basket had separated from the bottom of the sink and water had gushed everywhere. I called several plumbers and some did not even bother getting back to me. Nice Guy Plumbing promptly did. They were able to come to my home within a matter of two days and address the problem. Jared was friendly, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable, and I found the rate to be reasonable. I feel relief having found a plumber that I can rely upon in the future and that I feel I can trust in not overcharging me. My kitchen sink drain issue was a happy accident in that I have now found a trustworthy plumber.

Having built, remodeled or renovated eleven homes over the years, excellent tradespeople are cherished in our household. Nice Guy Plumbing is remarkable. The team does exceptional, professional work. They easily figure out complex problems. They are kind, polite, efficient and ever so competent. Costs are very reasonable and the work is impeccable. We were referred to Nice Guy Plumbing by an accomplished landscape company. Nice Guy Plumbing in turn has been generous with their time and information referring us to other fine tradespeople. This company is outstanding.

These guys are awesome! Justin kept in touch with me via text because there was a delay with the job before mine. They were very professional, cleaned up after they were done and charged a fair price. I was most impressed that they sent a Journeyman and an Apprentice to do the job. It was great to see both of them working together, one teaching the trade and the other learning it. I was treated with utmost respect even though it was just a leak under the
kitchen sink. I hope I won't need a plumber anytime soon but if I do it's nice to know the NICE GUYS are there for me! Cindy B

While this company came recommended to me from a reliable source I was shocked when I was billed 15% ABOVE the average RETAIL rate of plumbers. And since I am acting as my own General Contractor the rates were really 20-25% above what I should have been billed.

As an example they billed me at $160/hr and charged me for .5 hours for TWO MEN to blow air in the rough plumbing pipe for Boulder County inspectors. This is a ONE MAN job and does not take 30 minutes...more like 15 minutes. They even charged me $130/hour again for .5 hoursr for the pencil sketch to get the rough plumbing permit. I am an artist...I could have done this sketch in 5 minutes!

I am a woman and when I called the owner about the TWO MAN BILL FOR A ONE MAN JOB I was told ""Was I suppossed to leave the helper at the shop with nothing to do while we put air in the pipe?"" Then after I told him that I did not think it would work out for his company to do the rest of my property addition/remodel. He said ""Yes I agree"". I said ""Agree to what?"" He said ""We don't want the job..."" I said "" I can tell because you took advantage of me. ""He said ""We don't like working with homeowners who want to be general contractors because they don't understand the trades."" Really? Because I was not DUMB enough to know he over billed me. The ONLY thing I was DUMB enough to do was to trust Justin.

Get a FIRM bid from this company if you intend to do ANY business. They are NOT NICE, NOT ETHICAL and THEY ARE NOT working for me anymore!

This past January, Comcast came out to my second home in Longmont and said that I had to have my cable re-pulled throughout my home as it was causing interference with my neighbors' reception. While down there pulling wire, the technician let me know about a leaking pipe. My HOA had warned everyone to have their pipes checked as all of our homes were built in the 60's.

Long story short... the tech, Ryan, spent a half hour in my crawl space until he found the leak which was a long term slow leak as a result of shoddy original 60's work. He spent the time to get the right part and made sure it was fixed properly.

Price was right... the service was excellent!

Nice Guy Plumbing took care of my problem and that's all I want a plumber to do.

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they didn't give me anything free.

This company name is quite ironic. 'NiceGuy' isn't the adjective I'd use when referring to NiceGuy Plumbing. I was provided with a bid for my basement finish and for the trim finish, I asked about the materials that were needed to finish the work as I supplied just about everything, except for 5 stop valves and plastic drain pipe for the sink. Total cost couldn't have been more than $60-$70. So I asked what materials were needed that I was billed $175.00 according to his invoice (which was a separate line item). There had to be other materials that I was just not aware of that were required to finish the trim. He continued to tell me it was a bided project. I asked for a receipt and he told me that's not their policy. He then asked me if I was ever in construction business and if I knew how the construction business worked. Comical. The conversation ended with him threatening to put a lien on my house and then hung up on me. Class act. I wouldn't recommend this plumber to anyone, there are plenty of other plumbers out there that do quality work and understand customer service. His price/bid was middle of the road compared to the 3 proposals that I obtained prior to starting the project. Take your business/project else where.

Nice Guy Plumbing really lives up to their name! I just had to write a review about my recent plumbing experience because I've never had such great customer service and fair pricing. This is a local family owned company-just the type of people I like to support. Their master plumber Tony was knowledgable and explained options to me in a way that was easy to understand.
Just like the previous Reviewer I called shortly after the floods.. I was also given a very quick appointment even though the owner had experienced flood situations in his own home!! This impressed me.
My new kitchen fixtures are beautiful and working great. My favorite part of hiring Nice Guy Plumbing was the Toto toilet they installed w soft close seat! My husband and I never knew we could love a toilet. :)
Don't worry about those hard to please customers we will not hesitate to call NGP again. J
