Do not hire NH Ross they are unprepared, unprofessional, will overcharge you and not complete the work. Their staff is very rude on the phone and techs try to sell unnecessary services. The scheduling manager does not even know when the techs are booked for and will show up at your house unannounced. That is if they show up at all. Stay far, far, FAR away from NH Ross!

We were told by PC Richards our 30 amp needed to be changed to a 20 amp receiver for a new air unit. I thought a couple of hundred bucks maybe. It was over 500$ in the end. PC Richards comes to deliver and they tell me that whoever installed this should have known that I needed a 20 amp 220 for an air conditioner replacement this size, not a 20 amp 110, which requires an unnecessary downgrade. They exclaimed my electrician should have known this. My husband is told they will not come back and put the right one in and we are out a lot of money now and still have no air conditioning.

The technician came out, looked but never touched our air conditioner and said it was broken and we needed to buy a new one. He also told me that they only service central air conditioning and I had advised 3 different dispatchers it was a wall unit. As far as the problem with the unit, it's only a couple years old and I would later find out we only needed to replace our filter. Something seemed very strange about them knowing it was a wall unit and still sending someone to our home. I'm posting this review to let people know that not only did they unnecessarily gain access to our home, after being advised it was a wall unit several times and they said they only service central air. It was only a filter that needed to be replaced, it was not broken and unrepairable as the technician had stated and the technician also tried to get me to sign something, and he never even touched the unit. I find the whole encounter to be unusual and concerning.

They use pressure tactics and deceptive methods to force homeowners into unnecessary work. My wife was upset for a whole day due to their doomsday scenarios.

Why are they still in business? Why haven't they been investigated?

My toilet was overflowing and I called them to come and help. They were literally here less than an hour charged me $736.48 to snake the pipe and did not fix the problem. I called the cesspool company to come and they had the problem (after snaking it themselves) fixed in a hour for a $150

With the recent extreme weather event, we had heating pipes burst in multiple locations in our 100yr old home. After calling multiple plumbing companies, NH Ross was able to fit us in within 24 hrs (we had some level of heating so it wasn't an issue for us). Zach B was our plumber and he really tried to work within our budget and provide recommendations on how to prevent this from happening in the future. We were able to have our heating restored shortly after. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Zach B from NH Ross.
