Recommended Customer Reviews

It is a day later since the service request was placed and I have not heard anything from this company. The service request was placed through my home warranty. I called them today at 12:30pm and left a message. Then I called my home warranty company (Old. Republic Home Warranty) and they placed a call to NLP. Still haven't heard from them. Based on the number of bad reviews I called my home warranty company and had the service transferred to another service provider. Stay away!!!!!

We had to shut our water off due to a bad leak. Called our home warranty company and was assigned this company. Scheduling was easy and they came out faster than originally planned due to us having to shut off the water which I appreciated. When they arrived, they told my boyfriend we had two significant leaks and they had to contact my home warranty to request replacing the pipes/plumbing in those areas and that my home warranty would be calling me to follow up. When I followed up with my home warranty, they told me a completely different story. They said the tech report claimed they didn't have access to the leaks and that I need to move the FRAME of my house....THE FRAME. None of this was mentioned in person. They said they haven't even diagnosed anything yet so until I move the frame they can not move forward. I called Next level and never heard back. This was over a week ago now. I ended up having someone else come out to fix the issue.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Next Level Plumbing came to my house to fix a clogged toilet. After working on the problem for a while they said they didn't have the right equipment on their truck...said they would be back to finish the job. They never came back. I gave them 3 opportunities to do so. Now I have been ghosted by this company. They left the bathroom a mess with **** on the walls. They didn't have towels, buckets etc..I gave that to them. I'm out $195, and fighting to get my money refunded.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

This company was assigned to me by a home warranty company. They came out and replaced a drain pipe. When they tested the line (which they could not test before because another plumber had cut it and did not finish) they saw more leaks. They said they would contact the home warranty company and get approval for the additional pipe and get back to me the same day. I heard nothing, plus they they charged me (with a $340 discount since they could not finish). Then I never heard from them. I left messages, texts. I contacted the home warranty company and they also left message with no response. It is rude to ignore customers.

They sent two children with no equipment and no, experience, spent 5 mins and said, they didn't carry the tools I need on their truck they would have to come back, but it would another day because they had other appointments and the shop was too far away to get the tools and come back that day. I had raw sewage floating in my basement. This was the biggest fail I've ever witnessed.

My experience with this company was horrific. I have a home warranty that contracts them for plumbing issues in the area. My hot water heater started leaking on Saturday. Their technician came out and said it needed to be replace and that they would send the information to the warranty company. Once the warranty company approves it, it would be installed within two days.
First thing Monday morning I get and email asking me to approve extra charges. There were two charges totally $225 for out of pocket expenses that I would need to cover, one of them being an ""access"" fee. Meaning, my hot water heater would be difficult to access and that would cost me $100. (Please see photo below.) I was not happy but approved the charges the same day to proceed as the valve on the water heater to shut water off to it doesn't work. Therefor, I had to shut the water off to my entire home or the water would enter the hot water heater, leak out, and flood my basement. (I found this out the hard way after it flooded twice.)
I was told Next Level Plumbing could not schedule me until the hot water heater ""came in"". On Tuesday evening I still had no update and called the warranty company. (Next Level Plumbing was extremely slow to respond and I needed an update.) I was told that everything was paid for on Monday and they were just waiting for NLP to pick up everything.
I sent a message to NLP and asked them why they hadn't picked up the parts and scheduled me. Wednesday morning the responded and said the hot water heater was just ordered the night before. When I called the warranty company they said NLP didn't want to drive that far to pick up the parts and requested a closer location. Then in the text message attached, they said they have to have PO number for pickup. Which doesn't add up to previous comments about ""waiting for it to come in"" and getting ""ordered"". It was already in stock and paid for just waiting for pickup.
NLP then proceeded to give me the last available appointment on Friday 3-6pm. Once I pointed out that I would be 7 days without water (which they were made aware of multiple times) they canceled the appointment in retaliation for my complaining.
I did speak to the owner who made fun of the ""non English speaking"" people working at my home warranty company and begin to justify all of the issues I had experienced and lies I was told over the course of five days. He placed all of the blame on the home warranty company and took no responsibility for his staff lying to me and putting me off.
I did not include all of the lies I was told in the review because I would be writing a book. This company is beyond unprofessional, deceitful, and revengeful. They knew they were the only contractor in the area for my warranty company and took advantage of that. First, by overcharging me and the warranty company(according to the warranty company $800 by the warranty company and $225 from me so almost $1100 for a 50 gal. water tank to be replaced.) Second, by putting me off and ultimately canceling my Friday appointing it took them 5 days to schedule in the first place. I wouldn't recommend to the my worst enemy.
In response to Mike B., you absolutely made fun of the non English speaking people. You did not say ""miscommunication"". You literally asked me if I every spoke to someone who spoke English at the home warranty company while laughing along with other dialog. And I didn't tell you that you were racist, I put that in the feedback they requested from me. Which is based off of your comments. Why would I bring it up if it weren't true when I plenty of other things I could bring up from this horrible experience?
I didn't not say I had dog poop all over my home, I said my dog was very sick throwing up and I had no water to help clean it up. (Who wouldn't want to be able to thoroughly clean their home in that situation.) I also said I could not shower because, again, I have had no water for 5 days but go ahead and make fun of my dog and myself for a situation that is out of our control. I never stated that everything in my home is dirty because it's not. That is your summation and assumption off of my dog being sick. Most people would have some kind of empathy and compassion, let alone care or concern.
Also, please reread my post and note where I say ""according to my home warranty"" company on the $1100. Which I'm left to believe because they have more credibility than you by far. I absolutely don't believe you and your staff after catching you in multiple lies (much like your response to my review.) For the record, I DON'T want to work with your company and I'm not sure why you think I do. Please keep your sarcastic ""fantastic"" comments to yourself because no one is buying it after all of these negative reviews.
If you've been doing this for 25 years since you were 15, I'd think you'd have more positive reviews since this yelp app was created in 2004.

If you want professional work and service, this is NOT the company to work with. I have not been able to use my shower/toilet/sink in my upstairs bathroom due to a leaking pipe into my downstairs living area for over a month now. I placed a service request with AHS and they assigned me to Next Level. The 1st scheduled visit was a 4 hr window that I had to reach out to Next Level to set up and was a no call/show from them. 2nd visit they were here for less than an hour and made the issue worse. 3rd visit was the same. 4th visit I had to make several calls and attempts to reach out to Next Level as well as AHS to get this resolved. Next Level admitted that they would be sending an ""experienced technician"" out for the 4th visit to which I was even more frustrated with. Why wouldn't they send an experienced technician out in the first place? Next Level does not return calls or respond to text messages for days and then apologizes with excuses. Also, the technician Josh blocked my driveway when he came to my house, cut the pipe in the downstairs and let water run all over the floor (thankfully it is tiled and not carpet), asked me for a broom/dustpan and paper towels to clean it up (not prepared w/his own supplies to clean it up), and then left knowing the pipe was still leaking and said he would need to come back another day. I have spent well over 12 hours either waiting on this company to show up to get this job done or on the phone multiple times to get them to come back to fix it and get this resolved. Lots of missed hours at work, I paid them $125 additional from the $125 I paid AHS for the visit and I have a worse issue now. Very unprofessional company and I am not sure how they are still in business.

Josh did a great job and was very efficient and informative. We appreciated his work ethic. Thank you all!

My experience with this company has already been a nightmare, and the service hasn't even been done yet. My water heater had to get shut down due to a leak. I contacted my warranty company (American Home Shield) and I had one person from Next Level come by my house and said it needed to be fully replaced. I was told it would take about 3 days. It's now been 9 days without hot water and this company has not returned any of my voicemails or text messages. I even had my warranty company call them and they haven't reached out and are now having to escalate it to their higher-ups. I understand things may take awhile but if you choose to simply not communicate with your customers, I am even more skeptical of their ability to replace my water heater properly. AHS should consider pairing with a different company.

very disappointed in this company no one responds or answers the phone! we had an appointment and no one ever got back to say they were coming same day and when we called our warrenty company we were informed that our appointment has been moved to a different day! we have had low water pressure in our entire house for a week and half and we called the day it started. Call someone else!!! I am a small business owner myself and would never ever treat a client this way!
