Juan has done several plumbing jobs for me, and replaced the sewer lateral for my dental office. Juan is personable, easy to reach and communicate with, gives accurate and very fair estimates for the proposed work, and starts and completes his work on time. Juan, Leo, and the Nexgen crew do excellent work and pay good attention to detail, and try to disturb things as little as possible. I have referred Juan to a friend, and my in-laws (always a bit risky), and both were very pleased with his work (whew!). Additionally, after the job is done, they close gates and doors, and leave everything neat and clean. I couldn't ask for anything more and am very comfortable giving Juan and his crew my highest recommendation.

Got an email alert from EBMUD our water consumption was more than doubled this period, suspecting a leak, i checked on yelp for a reliable plumber to take a look asap( on a weekend at that) , some were charging a fee just for inspection, Juan was prompt and offered free estimate. He was professional, honest , friendly and thorough. He didn't find any major leak and was advised to keep an eye on it, we did show him our utility sink that needed replacement and some issues with the backyard piping. Professional service, Highly recommend!

We needed a sewer lateral replacement and we really didn't want to have our nicely landscaped front yard torn up for a week as recommended by a big-name national plumbing company. Nexgen was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. We decided to go with trenchless and Juan, the owner of Nexgen, came out to provide an estimate and told us it would only be a one-day job with minimal disturbance to the yard. If your yard is a concern for you, I recommend going trenchless.

Juan was very professional yet personable and answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. That immediately increased my confidence since I didn't know what to expect with a sewer lateral replacement. He and his crew arrived promptly at the 8:00 AM start time which was wonderful as it's something I personally value in a contractor/company. Juan is both hands-on and able to direct his crew to adhere to whatever timeline he has set for the job. We could tell Juan takes great pride in his work and is detail-oriented as he seeks perfection in the job.

And may I say that the clean up job after the sewer lateral installation was impeccable! All the dirt, pavers, etc. were put back so cleanly that you wouldn't know that there was any work done. His crew were very courteous to us and respectful to the property. The time management was excellent as he allowed time at the end of the day to install a new toilet for us that we had mentioned that morning - something we weren't sure he'd be able to get to if the sewer lateral job took too long. He apparently was determined to get that installed no matter how late it got.

For all future plumbing issues, we plan on going with Nexgen since we were so pleased. We highly recommend to everyone you call Nexgen to have Juan come out to give an estimate and I'm sure after talking with him, you will want to schedule service with him.

Juan, the owner, did a small plumbing job at my house this week and I would definitely hire him again in the future. Both times he came by (for the initial free estimate and then the job itself) he was right on time and easy to reach by phone and text. Communication was easy, he explained everything in detail, gave options, and was professional. Licensed and gave a real receipt, which is better than many others.

I called around to at least 4 plumbers Saturday morning after getting told no one could come out until Monday morning. We are a single-bathroom unit and were running around to different gas stations Friday night in desperation!

I called Nexgen and when it went to voicemail I figured they didn't work on weekends and moved on- but after just a few moments Juan called me back and offered to come down in just an hour or two! He arrived promptly, with shoe coverings (that I really appreciated!) and told us an estimate, while being super clear that if it were a more complicated issue it might be a bit more expensive. Luckily, it was a simple fix, and he was in and out in 15 minutes for exactly what was quoted! I really appreciated his attention to detail in keeping our home clean and sanitary, and he was clearly extremely professional.

I won't hesitate to call him first next time we need plumbing help, and I'll be recommending him to my landlord for the future!

I used Juan before he started his own company. He was always the go to guy there as well. There is nothing that stumps him and I have a few old pieces of property. When I call with an issue he immediately assesses the problem and tells me what he thinks, what needs to happen and when. If it's like NOW/Today, he'll try to work it in to his schedule. He fixed a leaky pipe under my sink on Thanksgiving morning. He's the best I've seen. I bought my home in 1981, maybe before he was born, so I've seen a few plumbers in my time.

Juan and the team at NexGen recently replaced our main sewer lateral, which was a huge job that required pulling permits, opening a trench in the street, replacing the pipe, getting a certificate of compliance, and then returning everything to normal after the job was done. Honestly, we couldn't be happier with their services. Juan walked us through the process, answered all of our questions, and stayed in constant communication throughout the process. They did the job quickly, too.
