Giving this company a 1 star is being generous. They will do anything and everything to have you pay more than what you really need to. My initial install was less than a year ago, technicians and sales people neglect to tell you about additional components and costly components at time of service. I wish I had done more shopping around for my AC, however I feel better from experience the next heating and plumbing projects, NexGen will NOT have my business. BEWEARE THEIR COST!!!

One star is too much
Their technician, which is an insult to the title technician was the most dishonest person I have ever met. Did not diagnose the problem and did not fix the heater. He was rude and unprofessional. Please don't use this company. After my complaint to the company managers they did not follow up. How they have contract with home depot is beyond me. I am in contact with the management of home depot to figure out what the he'll is going on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY HVAC AND PLUMBING NEEDS.

Definitely have to update this review. So after purchasing a brand new unit from this company that was well over 15k it basically became a big problem. Have an extended warranty on parts and a service plan as well and they want me to pay for repairs???? Tried to blame the gas company for their fault equipment. We have been without a heater for several weeks now as we wait on parts to become available. Why pay for something that doesn't work??? Please fix the problem soon this is becoming quite ridiculous!!!!

Bought a heating system from them less than two years ago. Heater is turning on and off. Now they want me to pay nearly $200 for a small part. I would definitely check around before going with this company.

Three lies during quoting. Tech told me 3k for repair. Salesman came out, the 3k repair turned into 14k or 21k for entire system replacement. And he wasn't interested or willing to just doing the repairs.
Our system is only 8 years old. They also told me York brand was junk. Our Furnace is working fine. The problem was condenser and coil. Two other quotes were half of theirs. Talked about Senior and Low Income discounts but after quoting those discounts went away. Our system is under sized for our house. I agreed with that knowing it wasn't able to cool house properly.
Then he told me they couldn't use our existing ductwork for a bigger unit. After I mentioned I didn't like the mess and cost to change our ductwork suddenly it was ok to upgrade without changing ductwork. I believe people use them due to Home Depot sponsorship and financing.
Nexgen isn't the company for Us.

During the installation of a new AC unit on 2020 everything went well however last 2023 the AC unit started not working properly. Call nexgen about they came out however they want to charge me over $2k for labor. So I didn't let them do the work. This year 2024 its start working okay again however in the past few days the AC unit again not working properly. Just be beware with this type of business they are very dishonest!

I purchased a NEW A/C system from them in 2022 because my 20yr old system gave up. Their price was low as I had received other competing offers and the techs were nice, I felt really good about the process. But now 2 years later my heating as stopped twice during the winter and this summer my AC stopped due to what they have called a freon leak. Still waiting for them to repair five days later in this heat wave even with a 10 year warranty and who knows what the labor charges will be. I guess the lesson is you get what you pay for!

Our HVAC died on us during a three-digit heatwave the day before July 4th. So, I submitted an online Home Depot request for a new installation consult. NexGen called me on July 5th to set up an appointment for that same day. We met with Marcus on the morning of July 5th. He was very professional and thoroughly explained all the information presented to us to assist in deciding on a new system. Later that same afternoon, technicians Isaiah and Justin arrived at our home to install the new system. They both worked hours until late into the evening (in very hot temperatures) to complete the installation and then Isaiah took the time to explain how to operate the new thermostat. We are very thankful for their hard work, great customer service, and professionalism. We'll contact NexGen for any future HVAC needs. Thumbs up!

My experience with Steve Robinson From NEXGEN Air Conditioning * Heating *Plumbing was excellent ! His knowledge and customer service skills was expert level ! This gentleman definitely knows what he's talking about he was very personal and understanding to our budget. I was a bit hesitant at first because we don't know anything about HVAC. His style was professional yet showed a caring and personable interest ensuring we understood our situation and what our value options were within our budget. I would definitely recommend this company and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Steve Robinson !! He's awesome and professional I'm definitely requesting him for next time !!
