I have lived in Los Angeles for 12 years and we have used several plumbers. Today is the first time in 12 years that I felt like I received the level of service that I expect from a company. My dad owns a plumbing business on the east coast so I have very high expectations. Newton Plumbing exceeded those expectations today. It was easy to make an appointment. Scott was super friendly and listened to what I needed. I changed the appointment twice and they accommodated my schedule. Our technician Mike actually showed up early which was great. I showed him what needed to be fixed (and two other small issues that I had forgotten to mention on the phone) and he fixed everything in a timely manner. He communicated his progress to me throughout and now everything is fixed! They charged me a very fair amount for the work performed and I will definitely be calling them in the future. Thank YOU Newton plumbing for being fair and honest. Much appreciated.

Scott is great. The quality of his work speaks for itself, he is honest, and prices everything fairly. His staff actually picks up the phone and will call you back, something that is rare.

We've worked with Scott and Newton on a few properties and are happy to continue to use him in the future.

Had a great experience with Newton! I would definitely recommend them highly. I called on a Sunday evening with a non-emergency issue and even though it wasn't an emergency, I received a call back immediately and they came the next morning on time & resolved my issue! Very efficient, professional and got the job down quick.

This company claims they are ""Open 24 Hours a Day"" but this is not a true statement. I called them last night at 10:32 PM (and spoke with Rhonda) and again at 11:02 PM (and spoke with John) and NO ONE has returned my call yet. This was a true emergency. I was stranded by myself and my keys had fallen into a floor drain at a Grocery Store. I needed a plumber to snake out the drain and retrieve my keys. Here it is 14 HOURS LATER and NO ONE has even given me the courtesy of a call back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We've used Newton in the past, and when they've actually called back to schedule, they've been pretty good. But two times now when I've needed plumbing I've called at different times of the day, they take down my name and number each time, and never call back! Last time was this Friday at 5:11pm. The lady said they'd call me back later Friday. They can check their records or call logs to verify. I asked if she was sure they'd call because the previous time a few months back they never called me back and we had to use someone else. She said someone would definitely call me back Friday. Almost 24 hours later and no call back. Not sure if they check their Yelp, but this is ridiculous, maybe someone could bother to actually call me back and let me know if they're too busy for the job. I shouldn't have to call repeatedly or beg for their business when we've used them before without incident.

I wanted to update the Yelper with a 5 years later review. The work around / fix has held up for the last 5 years, once again showing this was the best way to go. :-)

Super appreciative of Scott the owner who answered my urgent call to get my Noritz water heater back in operation - and all done on the phone. It turned out that - after testing the gas at the stove - my emergency gas shutoff valve had tripped. A simple reset and back to a warm shower and a happy weekend.

They fixed a leak in our old bathroom sink. Unfortunately, they didn't fix it properly and we didn't notice. It had been leaking under the cabinet for some time after the repair. They came and fixed it again and we had to ask them to fix the cabinet which had been damaged. They finally came and put in a new cabinet floor, but unfortunately, the damage was done and now we still smell the cabinet rot and need to get the whole cabinet replaced.

Newton Plumbing saved our Thanksgiving! Angie and Scott arranged a last-minute pre-holiday visit. Mike and Oscar were courteous, professional and did an excellent job. The price was affordable; the work and the customer service were top notch! Thanks to the team at Newton, our Thanksgiving for 10 people turned out great. We've been using and recommending Newton for a few years now. This latest experience was so supremely wonderful that I simply had to write this well-deserved and long overdue 5-star review. Scott and his team run a tremendous operation. We had two leaky pipes, one under a dusty crawl space, which they fixed and replaced in a very efficient manner. They're timely, professional, and incredibly reasonable with their pricing. If only all home improvement/remediation companies were of this caliber. Our friends who referred us to them said these guys are REALLY good; we discovered for ourselves that they weren't exaggerating. Thank you!
