I wish I had good things to say about this company and Mauricio but I don't ! About a year ago I contacted this guy for a water heater repair job for a rental property in Encino when he came over he said that the previous plumber did not do a good job that he had to repipe the connections and everything would be ok he charged $350 labor and $80 for parts about 8 months later same problem occurred again when we contacted him he didn't even want to come and see the problem he simply pointed out to the section on the invoice that says "" the work is only guaranteed for 30 days"" I don't believe anybody would hire a plumber knowing that the work is only guaranteed for 30 days . Note; I had to pay another plumber to the same job again...

Mauricio is one of the best out there, he is knowledgeable and responsible. He had worked on my Noritz tankless water heater, answered all questions, made sure all is working properly. Absolutely will work with him again.

I have not yet had the pleasure of working with; but so far the Owner/principal has been responsive, transparent, and very kind and sharing his thoughts on our situation.

We were referred over by another plumbing company that we have enjoyed using for years, and they had only outstanding feedback and recommendations for this company.

I have no doubt that once the work is completed this coming week, will be able to write a full outstanding follow up review.

Mauricio is an amazing person first and foremost. My relatively new tankless water heater broke down out of nowhere. I called several plumbers before finding Newport Plumbing. Each of the those plumbers did not know what they were doing and wanted to charge an expensive consultation fee. Mauricio not only fit me into his busy schedule on the same day I called, but he did not charge me until the problem was fixed (on his return trip the next day). He is a clear communicator, honest, fair, and genuinely cares about his work and clients. He did not have the replacement part we needed to fix the water heater, and he traveled a far distance to pick up the part, and he did not charge for this travel/time. I highly recommend him. He will definitely be my top choice going forward.

My Rinnai tankless hot water heater stopped working. Mauricio is certified to repair them. He had it working in about 45 minutes. So thankful for him and his great work. Easy to deal with. Straightforward about the problem and the cost to repair.

Just moved into a new place where it has a Rinnai tankless water heater. For days, I could not figure out how to get hot water in the shower; just lukewarm. I'm able to obtain hot water in the bathroom sink. I contacted Rinnai who gave me Newport Plumbing's number. I spoke with Mauricio at Newport Plumbing about the situation. Since I had hot water in the sink, he suggested that this was most likely a shower valve issue/adjustment. Based on Mauricio's knowledge (and with the help of YouTube), I was able to adjust the shower valve to gain hot water. Thank you Mauricio.

I initially wanted to leave a review before even being provided a service based off of my interaction with Mauricio alone. He is very responsive and advised me on how to handle an issue for the place of business I manage that we were experiencing at the time. I really appreciated him going out of his way to provide extra info as I had called several other plumbing services. When it came time for him to come in, he was very knowledgeable, honest and efficient with time. I highly recommend him and would definitely be calling him again in the future should an issue arise.

I returned from a two-week trip out of the country late at night to discover what I thought was a problem with my tankless water heater. I could not turn on my water main that night. After calling another plumber I frantically searched the OEM (Rinnai) site for the water heater to see if they had 24-hour customer service. The site recommended three local service/repair companies for their brand. Newport/Mauricio was the second call I made the next morning, after the first place said they could not get to me until the next day. Mauricio took my call on driving on his way to another service call and he diagnosed my problem over the phone -- it was not the tankless water heater after all. He sent two of his service men out that same day and they fixed the issue in the bitter cold (during the coldest winter in years in LA) and in waning daylight, basically dark.

I am glad that I found all the other stellar reviews for Mauricio/Newport, including Rinnai's endorsement of Mauricio/Newport. I highly recommend Mauricio/Newport and they will be my go-to for plumbing problems from now on.

I am so happy I found Newport Plumbing! My tankless water heater had issues. I called Newport after a plumber from another company had came out and failed to figure out the problem. So glad I called Newport. Maurico was extremely responsive and arrived in less than an hour. Unlike the other guy, Maurico is clearly an experienced expert on Navien tankless heaters. He diagnosed the issue, got the job done, and did not try to upsell me on stuff I didn't need. Highly recommended! Thank you!!!!
