My initial review was removed for yelp by no reason. The contractor for this business has been keep telling me he's getting close to the condo but never showed up. He was assigned by the home warranty company in the early morning to take care of an emergency. I called him in the early morning to aware of his workload so I can manage my time for his visit. first time, the contract say once he finish the current emergency he will come. Second time, I called at afternoon around 2pm, he said he just finished the first work and about to take some photo, and he will take some photo heading to the condo to fix my issue. He didn't provide ETA but he said he's 20-30 min away.

Third time, I don't want bother so I asked my in-law to call him again, here's his response, he's taking care of emergency but he will be at the condo soon. again, no more follow up. no show. until this morning. He texted me ask me to take down the review I gave and insist that's not his fault but the insurance company. A person doesn't respect other ppl's time. I won't trust his professionalism either. So I cancel the request from Home Warranty company.

I reached out this contractor a few times and was not given the clear answer. For a whole day, I arranged my schedule to be prepared for his visit but no update at all. My in-law was very upset by talking to him the third time and he keep saying he has to take care of other's emergency first.

I never ever give 1 star review on yelp, the worst is always around 2 or 3. But for this experience, we felt fooled and not get the apology from this contractor but asked for take down this negative review so it's not impact his business. if this is how your run your business to the customer, good luck!

Newport Mesa Drain was the most responsive of a group of plumbers that I reached out to. He arrived the next day and helped us figure out a gnarly gas line issue. The entire time he was reasonable, personable and professional and he kept assuring us he stood by his work if we had any troubles with it in the future. Felt good about the job/transaction.
