I wish all contractors were as honest, reliable, and hard-working as Mike Newkirk! He did such an excellent job installing a new toilet for us, we hired him again a couple years later to install a tankless water heater. He went above and beyond to do the job right, fixing the previous installer's mistakes and using higher-quality materials, even when the job took 3 hours longer to complete and the materials cost him hundreds of dollars extra out of his own pocket. I will only hire Mike for my plumbing issues!

Michael Newkirk and crew did a full blown bathroom remodel turning one large bathroom into one master bath and one hall bath. This was a very difficult job and they tackled it without an issue. From Their recommendations on layout to where we wanted the hot and cold lever in our new walk in shower, always on top of detail. Michael has always been my go to guy, as well as the rest of my family. Honest, fair and always up front. We love our new bathrooms!

We used Mike Newkirk once again and twice this year alone. I left a previous review and everything I said still applies to Mike's professionalism, knowledge and kindness. I can go on and on about him, but simply said he is just plain excellent. We will call no one else. He rushed to help us today to fix a water leak at our cabin. I cannot thank him enough to coming at our time of need. He and is wife, Wendy, are wonderful people. If you don't use Mike for your plumbing needs you are loosing out! His level of wonderful customer service doesn't exits with others in todays world. We appreciate him so much.

I found Newkirk's Plumbing on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. I first had him come to help with a toilet that wouldn't stop running, he fixed that quickly and was so nice. The second and 3rd time we needed help with water leaks, one was a simple fix and one was a bigger job, we had a loose fitting on our water line leading from our water main, thank goodness he was able to find the problem and fix it! Most recently he came and installed 2 kitchen faucets, I would recommend Michael over and over! He was fast to respond, fair in price and very nice.

Absolutely phenomenal!! I'm only sorry there weren't more stars to rate him with. Although there was scheduling difficulties due to the rain ( my water heater is located outside) he was diligent in making sure the job was done as soon as possible.
His rates are fair, he's extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. He works both quickly and efficiently. Moreover, he follows up with a phone call to make sure everything is working properly.
What more can you ask for?? I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone in need of a plumber.

Michael showed up on time and had no hesitation about wearing a mask which was important to us. He was professional, courteous and it was evident he knew his craft. When he noted that the color of the new toilets did not match the tub/sink he checked to be sure that we in fact wanted the color we purchased (which we did). He also found a crack in one of the toilets and was willing to rearrange his day to ensure we could exchange the toilet and still have it installed same day. He went above and beyond and we would have no hesitation using him again or referring him out. Thank you Michael for a job well done!

Wish I could give Mike a 10+. Old cabin needed water heater replaced. He first tried to avoid the expense of installing a new unit by replacing the electrical parts.
Once we determined it would not heat, Mike returned and installed the new unit. I have future plans for a major upgrade and Mike will be the ONLY licensed plumbing contractor I will call for the project. Mike is extremely knowledgeable about pipes, efficiency conservation and proper installations .
I appreciate the referral I was given by Lowe's in Sonora!
