Would be Zero if allowed!! Called company around 9 am and was told they would have someone call me within an hour. Two hours later I called back and they gave me the number for a plumber of theirs in the neighborhood. Called that number and was told he would be there in 20 minutes. Dealt with Jeff who supposedly fixed the problem in all of about 10 minutes. We paid him and he left. But not even two hours later we had the same issue again. We waited overnight to see if the issue resolved itself but when it didn't we called the company back and they said they would have someone come within an hour. 3 hours go by and we call back and their response was, ""that's weird"" they contact the plumber again and he calls us to tell us we aren't in his zone that day but maybe tomorrow. Now we were forced to call another company to RE-fix the issue that we paid to have resolved. When I call the company back and ask for a supervisor they tell me there is no one available but that they will have Jeff contact me. When Jeff calls his response is ""Well i knew that would happen,"" How absolutely disgraceful as the face of a company to tell your customers who paid you to do a job that you knew it wasn't going to solve any problem. He proceeded to tell me ""well thats why nothing is guaranteed."" The people that we allow into our homes from this company are belligerent and rude! We pay them to do a job and they willingly accept our money knowing that their work will be sub-par at best. If I were to do that at my job I would be fired. I would also be fired for speaking to clients in the manner that their representative Jeff spoke to myself and my husband. This company does not stand by its work or its workers, they do not step in to resolve issues, they just take your money and leave you worse off for it.

Avoid this company at all costs! Had a heating emergency on the coldest night of the year, just last weekend. So I was over a barrel. Eric came over within 45 minutes. He was one of the most miserable, arrogant and belligerent jerks imaginable. He got the boiler working, but I will not tolerate or patronize any craftsman, company or individual that makes me feel as if they are doing me a favor when I am paying their salary with my hard-earned money. I will never use this company again, and I would never recommend their services. I wish I knew then what I know now! Beware of NY Plumbing & Sewer Rooter!

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with New York Plumbing & Sewer Rooter. The service comprised of both incompetence and negligence and caused me to call a more professional company to fix the issue. This is a terrible company offering no customer service, no professionalism, and no quality to their work. Most lemonade stands have better organization, customer service, and quality of service.

My main sewer was backing up in my basement around 11pm. I called a few people and no one showed but I called Ny plumbing and they showed within an hour.

I had no clue what was going on but the technician Gary came, used a powerful snake, cleaned out the line as it had roots and tampons causing the blockage.

He showed me what I needed to do each year and suggested having the line ran once every 2 years or so since I have about 10 trees on my property.

Service came with a 90 day warranty so if I have any issues they will come back. I was given the option to extend to a 1 year but choose not too.

He was very knowledgeable about this work and also suggested one of those water alarms if the floor gets wet so next time I don't show up with a full basement with 3 inches of water. Set up a return call to have the hot water heater replaced next week. I'll let you know how that goes. They also took $30 off with a coupon they have online even though it was emergency service after midnight. I would recommend this company to a friend or family member.

I had a drain problem, I called two different companies and neither could fix it. I didn't want to start changing my pipes so I decided to give it one more try. Not only did NY Plumbing fix it but the price they ended up charging me was less then the first two. I was very happy with the time it took to arrive. The gentleman who came was very professional. They saved me form very costly project.

Showed up within 30 minutes as they promised, but they couldn't fix it. Kept changing the price and didn't want to honor the coupon they posted on their website. Came back the next day, job is done, however price was a rip off. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

Wish Yelp had a zero star rating, because that's what I'd give NY plumbing/Brooklyn plumbing / Nassau county plumbing. Called around 9pm and asked if it would be possible for someone to come snake a clogged tub. They said that yes, it would be possible to travel to Brooklyn same night and fix it. We waited up until after midnight and they never showed, never called. They had all the information they needed (phone number, address, apartment number, cross streets) to do the job, and they really dropped the ball. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this company's total lack of professionalism left me no other choice.

This plumbing company goes by different names and numbers.I found them on the web as Nassau Plumbing & Sewer Rooter (516-874-7937) but my receipt says New York Plumbing & Sewer Rooter (516-887-9084). Internet ad offered ""$30 off any plumbing repair"" so we called them

Service guy came promptly when scheduled and unclogged toilet in two minutes but said $30 off was for sewer repair. I called the office and spoke to the most miserable woman who insisted ""read the ad, it says for sewer repair"" It doesn't. The serviceman heard me arguing and helpfully pointed out another coupon on the home page, $20 off drain cleaning, and said this would apply. So I told the woman. She still insisted, no discount. When I asked if she's just interested in making as much money as she can on one service call instead of keeping me as a customer, she responded, ""that's your choice"" and hung up on me.

The repair guy graciously took $20 off the bill anyway. He said she's the dispatcher and they get a lot of complaints about her but she's related to the owner so nothing can be done. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I called these guys on THANKSGIVING for a busted toilet.The serviceman got here in under an hour ! ( Just in time ) He was like one of the family. You saved the day.
