I had a water emergency around early Sunday 230 am with my water backing up from my kitchen sink. Spoke to a guy named JOSH from New Pipes & was a total jerk. Was stunned by the attitude & rudeness over the phone. I understand that it was during wee hours of the am on a weekend but that should not be an excuse for Unprofessionalism towards a paying customer. His tone was cold & response to me was hostile.Fortunately, he was not the one who showed up at my door. Thanks to JEREMY who was the total opposite. He was professional, appropriate, answered my questions clearly/patiently, and did a great job troubleshooting the situation.

I scheduled an appoint for today, between 8:30 - 9:30 AM.
I received a call from Brittney at 11:30 AM Yesterday to confirm my appointment. I got up at 8:00 to prep and be ready for my technician.
I called Brittney at 9:50AM. She called the technician to check on his ETA and called me back to let me know he would be another hour.
Thanks for confirming my appointment!!! :( He had two appointments scheduled at the same time.

AND he shows up without the right tools or parts.

To their credit. I did receive a small discount, and several applogy phone calls.

I am glad so many people have had a good experience with New Pipes, Inc. Our HOA hired them to do repairs today. The water was to be off from 9 am to 1 pm. They kept to the schedule but did not turn the water heaters back on. It is now 7:30 pm, their answering service says they will not send out someone unless the caller is willing to pay for the trip.
Not satisfactory by a long shot.

I live in San Ramon

That's right - SAN RAMON! My a/c broke (like everyone else's did) during the heatwave of 2017 where we had a string of 120 degree days at the end of August/early September.

I called 4 different places. One place said they'd book me 9 days out and would charge me for a doorbell, even if they didn't do any work. I posted on Facebook my woes, and I had a friend recommend New Pipes to me. She explained that her mom had these guys over next day and didn't regret it.

I called - they were flooded with requests, so their appt coordinator was unable to answer. Phone was picked up on the second ring by someone in the office who took my name and number and said someone would call me back. Five hours later, no call back, so I decided to just call back - they booked me next day. That's right, I called on a Monday evening, and they booked me for a TUESDAY MORNING appointment. IN SAN RAMON.

Their repair guy showed up at the start of the 2 hour window and was done in less than 30 mins for less than $300. He had spare capacitors on his truck and anticipated that was the case. In the process of swapping out the cap, the fuse was blown on the house fan - so he replaced that free of charge since it was because he hadn't placed enough tape to insulate the cap (small arc)). I appreciate the honesty, and managing to fix it still under an hour.

Two weeks went by - and I swear our house wasn't getting any cooler. New Pipes guarantees their work. So I called them up and asked if they could come back out to take a look.

Somehow the fan got attached to the new capacitor with the wires crossed, and so the fan was rotating the wrong direction.

I don't know these things - the repairman told me so. He also apologized since it was his own work that caused it. So he replaced the capacitor, AND motor - since the fan running backwards could have ruined it. All for free - since I already paid for the original service (less than $300).

So in the end I got a new motor, new capacitor, and a top off on refridgerant all for less than $300. Each time getting the appointment within my first available (not theirs). I would highly recommend them. Super honest, fast, and results.

My HOA had contacted New Pipes for an estimate to repair an AC unit that had been improperly installed. I spoke with Brittany to schedule the estimate and the subsequent repair. She was pleasant and so accommodating.

James came out and quickly identified the areas that needed to be corrected including the improper installation of a dryer vent. James was respectful, friendly and helpful in describing the issues that needed correction. He coordinated the repair with the HOA.

An appointment was scheduled within a week. Nick was the technician that was assigned to the work order. On arrival, he had spoken earlier with James (aka Senior) and knew what was required. The heater vent was fixed at a minimal cost. He completed the AC modifications promptly and cleaned the surrounding area. James is an amiable, gracious young man,

New Pipes sent Josh to find the pipe that was the source of a big leak under my condo.Josh was great! I was panicky and stressed and he calmed me down. He spent a lot of time trying ti find the main source of the leak and had to cut through the walls in several places. He left promising he would know after the weekend. As he returned Monday A.M. he knew where the problem was- ""I thought about it all weekend!"" He is a great worker and is kind and humorous
as well. He explained what would have to be don, which involved a re pipe that would mean opening up many walls.
I am so happy to report that the work was completed with no problem and you can't see where the walls were opened! Paint matched perfectly!

I called them at the recommendation of my cousin, who is on the board of her HOA and has used them. After RotoRooter came out and could not clear the line from my house to the city line, RR gave me an estimate of between $4,500 and $8,500 to dig up my lawn, driveway and sidewalk! I am so glad I called New Pipes for a second opinion. Andrew was there quickly, ran the snake a couple of times, and cleared the line. He said it seemed to be just a build-up of paper and didn't even have to use his heavy-duty saw-toothed blade. He replaced the patio things he had to remove even thought I said it was not necessary. My neighbor wanted his personal number so he could work under the table, but he would not do it. He said he loved his job and his company and it would not be right. That is so refreshing! My cousin was right about their company: prompt, honest, cleaned up, skilled!
