I called them for a routine repair of a Delta cartridge. We set up an appointment and they showed up with little desire to complete the work. First, the guy couldn't locate the valve to shut off the water to the unit. Then he found the main and said it looked corroded and so he left. I located the correct valve which was not corroded and rescheduled with them. They said if I wanted them to turn off the valve that they wouldn't be responsible for any damage due to the valve breaking I said sure. They added that language in the quote and resent it to me. The day of the scheduled call they called and said make sure YOU turn off the valve... I said that's not what we discussed. The lady on the phone said that's what it says on your quote we sent you two days ago. I pulled up the quote and read it back to her verbatim. She put me on hold, probably to rethink their BS strategy. When she picked up she said something to the effect of well we said that you were requesting we turn it off not that we would... if that was the case I would have gone with someone else then and there. I would never have reschedule with them if they told me that. The technician Fernando had horrible customer service, their receptionist/front desk is unaware at best but closer to incompetent if you ask me. I have now schedule two water shutoff events with my building and now have to do a third for a simple job. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR TIME WITH THESE CLOWNS. Jake is their best technician and he's a knowledgeable guy but he doesn't go out on calls he just advises the other guys. Do yourself a favor and go with another company, the prices here are pretty much identical to any other mainstream company. The service however is subpar in comparison. My Tenant, the HoA, and myself all agree on this.

Our shower faucet had a leak and because we are in a condo it required we shut off water that affects multiple units. We are unfamiliar with the pipes and where to shut off the water because we are renting. So Fernando from New Generation came by looked at our shower for 2 seconds, then asked to be shown where to shut off the water. He looked around the garage very quickly, talking very fast, and also very rudely taking phone calls and not focused at all!!! He asked me where my unit is, and I tried pointing it out several times but he did not look in my direction or listen to me. Then he points out the main line for the whole building and says that would need to be shut off since he couldn't identify the valves for our unit (WHICH HE DID NOT LOOK FOR). He says he'll tell our landlord what he saw and left and clearly didn't have any intention of coming back. We talked with HOA and figure out which valves are ours, and also learned that there has never been an issue before with a plumber identifying the correct valves. If he is a licensed experienced plumber, he should have been able to figure it out. Fernando clearly didn't care to do the job and was extremely unprofessional.
So we gave New Generation another shot thinking it was just Fernando that was the issue. We reschedule and ask they send a different plumber and was told that WE would have to shut off the water ourselves for them to do the job. Why wouldn't a licensed plumber be able to shut off a water valve themselves??? This was so unbelievably baffling. Told them we don't want them out here.
Also we have to notify other units of a scheduled water shut off and which is a huge inconvenience for everyone. We have now unnecessarily notified everyone twice, and now will have to schedule a third time. Never going with this company again. Also, did I mention this was all just for a small shower leak!?!?

**update** NOTHING WAS COMMUNICATED!! YOU WERE NOT EVEN THERE, AND ARE ONLY ASSUMING THEY COMMUNICATED. YOU ARE CORRECT THE INVOICE WAS PAID AT A LATER TIME, BUT ONLY BECAUSE YOUR WORKERS ASKEDNUS FOR OUR CREDIT CARD INFO AFTER THEY MADE THE HOLE IN THE WALL , AND SAID THE CARD WOULD BE CHARGE. We had a leak in our bathroom and we figured it out where the leak was coming from. The workers came as they advised, they were shown to the restroom to inspect, and told us that we needed an access panel (we didn't have one) but before any further updates/explanations they went ahead and broke out some drywall lower to the floor (not where the panel access door would go). It was not a small section it was pretty big. They left to home depot they got the access panel, and new faucets, which we only found out after they came back because all they said was ""we will return"" and they did a few hours later.
Once the access panel was complete I said, well you can't leave me that mess you made, and at that time they said, oh we don't do drywall, umm ok but you were quick to destroy my drywall and not even think to ask if it was ok, or to explain what the process was before you destroyed my wall. It definitely was lesson learned, and an expensive one ($1200) not to mention now I have to find someone to come and make it right. Now that I am writing this review, I am thinking they didn't ask for permission to destroy my wall, nor advise us of what they were going to do.

Had a clogged sink that needed rootering. Requested a quote through Yelp in less than 30 minutes. Very nice dispatcher was able to fit me in with a window today. She kept me in contact throughout the morning until staff arrived. Two gentlemen came in, fixed the clog in less than 30 minutes. Tested their results and then cleaned up. Would definitely use their services next time. FYI Condo rates are higher than single home units.

Fernando and Hector were knowledge and fast. They fixed my tankless water heater in no time, with a smile (with masks:) and appreciation. I would highly recommend this company.

My home buying experience has been stressful & new generation did not help the situation. Through a friends referral, I asked my agent to help coordinate a sewer inspection.
The guy came and stated he was unable to locate the clean out pipe which is usually on the side of the house. He said it would cost $750 to dig a hole 6ft x 6ft to search for it. He said he had a packed schedule and left quickly leaving us out in the cold. Now I was super stressed because I had another huge expense to worry about.
Our realtor got another recommendation through a colleague. We spoke to them on the phone, they gave a few alternate solutions which didn't cost $750 or digging a huge hole on a property we didn't own yet.
There other company came out...and found the clean out pipe within minutes on the side of the house which was hiding behind a trash can. I can't believe the guy from New Generation plumbing didn't bother look closely. Note that this is a small 1100 square foot house, not a compound so there are no excuses & they offered only one expensive solution when there were alternate cheaper ones we learned about from another company.
Honestly, plumbing is a huge headache and I would expect top notch service. If these guys aren't careful enough to find a pipe on the side of the house for a sewer inspection, why would you bother with a bigger situation. I do not recommend these guys and I'll definitely have a conversation with the friend who recommended them & make sure they understand my experience. Again, this was just for a simple sewer inspection but I would never contact them for plumbing matters.

Martine and Charlie came by to check out a leak coming from my backyard all the way to the front of my house and they diagnosed the issue very quickly and efficiently. They were very kind and direct and spelled things out in a very clear way for me. Would highly recommend this company.

Super responsive, quick service, took care of the problem right away! Would definitely hire again.

I am tired of lots of plumbing issues with our old pipes, so when I called around to try a different plumber (the one we had been using was getting busy and expensive) one other one didn't answer so I emailed for a quote but I needed someone ASAP so I called New Gen and they took my call and sent a technician right away (they came in 30min) and they were all friendly and very helpful. They gave us a much better rate than the one I had been using and they were quick and took care of us. I will always use them and save their number and recommend them. They will try and give us a price estimate to fix this problem once and for all so we don't keep having to scramble to find a plumber when our patients/clients need quick Restroom help!

Martine and Carlos are awesome. Had issues with a shower that wasn't shutting off and they came and helped diagnose what was happening. They did a temporary fix and were going to come back on Monday with a part. As any dumb person, I started messing with it after they had left and boom, made the problem even worse, though I think my actions started a domino effect that would lead to this being fixed today. I had called New Generation back and let them know the emergency was greater than before. Martine and Carlos were able to come back within the hour and help fix this. They were very helpful and explained all of the various things that may have been wrong. I will absolutely be calling them for any plumbing needs in the future.
