Recommended Customer Reviews

I called New Era Plumbing and received a call back from Suzanne, who was very polite. I'm big on customer service and she delivered just that. When I scheduled my appointment a text message was sent and an email of the service that would be provided. The initial call is a $49.00 fee which is more than reasonable. I had a set time for 12-4p but Suzanne called me early and asked if I was available for an earlier time as she had a technician that was available. Prior to the technician arriving I was sent a text message with a picture and description of the tech, which in these days and times is very helpful. Michael came and we spoke about the problem I was having. Michael was very detailed and explained what was needed, explained why it's happening and gave his recommendations. He was very courteous, professional and really down to earth. He wore his mask the whole time, which is also important in these Covid times of uncertainty. I would definitely use this company again for my plumbing needs. Thank you to Suzanne and Michael for your customer service and efficiency.

BEWARE! I tried to use this company for a disposal replacement. When I called to schedule, I told them what the part cost is retail ($92-$100) and requested an estimate and told them the range I expected this to be """"total"""" and asked for a 2-5pm slot the following day. They wouldn't provide an estimate, took the notes, & confirmed the appt. The next day, the Tech was dispatched at 11:15 am for a 2-5 pm appt. window; no one was at home (which we knew would be the case & is why we requested 2-5). The Tech showed up for 2nd time at 2:30 ish and quoted a disposal larger than needed for $490. I refused it. He said he didn't have the disposal I requested in his catalog. I told him it's in stock at Lowe's or Home Depot (both about 10 mins. from my house) and asked if he could get one. He then told me he could call his manager to see if they have them. His manager said they did. I was told that the $100 disposal would be $390 installed (tech admitted it would its a $30 min. job). I challenged the price and tech told me to call the office. Well """"the office"""" is an answering service who advised me to call the business on Monday. I then had to ask the tech to call his manager, the same guy he had just spoken with a few minutes earlier. The manager said the best he could do was $360. I refused the service. The tech then asked about the call fee, $49.99 (in as much as it was his 2nd trip; that's your company's fault sir, not mine) and I shared that I felt like the business perpetrated a bait & switch by showing up unprepared to do the job I specifically asked for and offering me a bigger solution than I needed at a price point higher than I shared on the prior day. I try another company and place these guys on my """"do not call"""" list.

Found this company on google search took a chance on them and I couldn't be any happier. Thank you so much for sending Emmanuel. He did a great job. He was thorough n patient. Will definitely use New Era plumbing again

This company came out to give an estimate for my water heater, he turned the water on to check where the leak was coming from, but left the water on after looking at it, causing water damage to my wall that wasn't there previously, and when we called back to inform them what happened, the guy on the phone proceeded to tell me it's my fault, then hung up the phone.!!! This is a horrible way to treat customers, I will never think about calling them again, it's a wonder how they are still in business???

This company does not deserve any stars!!! I am a small business owner(female) that had an emergency plumbing issue on June 13, 2019. I can admit that I made a huge mistake not checking this company's reviews, I was in a panic and just needed the problem fixed! On this day the toilets at my summer camp program started to overflow and would not flush and after plunging for over 2 hours and having to close the business at noon due to this issue I needed a plumber ASAP. New Era was the first ones I called that could be out within the hour, now I know why they were the only ones in Douglasville that was available! The plumber Bobby shows up and tells me that the pipes are clogged up and he gives me a quote for $600.Once again I thought this was extremely pricey, but I needed to get the camp back up and running for the next day so I agree to have him proceed. Bobby goes out and proceed to do the job, but comes back in within 15 minutes to tell me that there is a bigger problem. He leads me to the back of the building and shows me where his snake and camera could not go any further. he said that he believes there is a collapsed pipe in the ground and that would explain why his camera went dark at that point. I explain to him that I could not afford to pay any thing more than the $600 and that I needed to get my landlord on the phone to see how he would like for me to proceed since it was going to be a much bigger job. I called the landlord and he even spoke with bobby. The landlord told Bobby that he wanted to have his people look into the problem and that he did not have to proceed any further. The landlord told me that Bobby's prices were extremely high and that he would send someone over the next day to take a look at the problem. The next day the landlord's plumber shows up and I explain to him what is going on and what Bobby (the New Era plumber said) The plumber explained that if there was a collapsed pipe there should be water/wetness in the area where Bobby thought the pipe had collapsed, he then proceeded to that area to find it completely dry, he then took a big black bulb looking object, hooked it to the water hose, placed it in the pipes and flushed the pipes out!!!!!!!!!!! Within 20 minutes the problem was solved! OMG I don't know if Bobby was taking advantage of me or he truly was very inexperienced! I ended up paying Bobby/New Era $319 for absolutely nothing! I have been calling New Era since last Thursday to speak with a manager, but no one will call me back so now I will have to take them to court! PLEASE STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Called them for an emergency have been waiting 3 hours for a callback terrible customer service. My family is without water and needed a RELIABLE company to come repair our issue. This company is not the one!

Technician did not show up for appointment I've called multiple times requesting to speak with a supervisor and no one ever calls back.

Customer beware! We had New Era come out to our home a little over a month ago and run a camera down our sewer line. First visit was ok. We called them back a month later for more work. We've been calling them for over two weeks and still haven't received a call back. They have a 24 hour answering service that will take messages, but you will NOT receive a call back from anyone. I WOULD NOT recommend them - ever!

I had a sink faucet fixed by New Era Plumbing. It was expensive but needed to be done and I had no time to search for a different plumber. That was a few months ago. The """"new"""" faucet started leaking so I called them back because there is a one year warranty. I called them three times and no one has returned my call. The number you call is a operator service and not a direct line to the actual business. I will keep calling until this is fixed and resolved. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Called because of an odor coming from my bathroom sink. Told I needed a P trap. He put on the P trap and was paid. A few hours later there was a leak from the drain under my sink. I sent an email saying there was a leak where he added the P trap. They came back and said he tightened it but it is still leakng. Emailed again with no response. I started getting calls from other plumbers asking about my leak. I'm not paying another plumber to repair it when I paid them. Still waiting for a response. Very disappointed in this service.
