Im a bit disappointed by the level of service I received today. I called the company to get an estimate of what it would be to have the vent stack checked because I feel there may be a blockage of some sort. The receptionist was very nice and said the fee would be $168 to come out and inspect to see what the issue is. If the job required more work, the cost could vary. Up to this point, everything was normal. I agreed and got a call before the tech came. The tech was cordial and came in to the back bathroom to check where the smell was originating from. At first he mentioned a few potential issues: the main drain may be broken; does the shower and sink have a p-trap? I answered all the questions and asked when he would be checking the vent stack. He said to check the stack would be $500-660. This is where things went sideways.  I was like, when I called, I specifically asked what this service would range since I did some pre-diagnosing and felt the vent stack was the issue. After a few minutes of going back and forth, he offered to change the wax ring ($6 part) for $350. I said no thank you and paid the $168 fee and had him go on his way. It is very disappointing that homeowners cannot find honest tradesmen to come and give honest estimates. YouTube here I come for solutions once again...

I saw the New England Plumbing truck out side of a shopping plaza guess they were on lunch.Well anyway I asked the young man a question about some plumbing issues my mother was having, that I was going to do myself. He asked me some questions about the problem and suggested a couple things that it could be. He gave me his name Devaris and the companies phone and said if I ran into a problem give them a call. This was a professional ,just the way he knew his stuff was so refreshing. I had called other companies just for advise and prices, they wanted to only give prices. But Devaris gave me a solution, very hard to find honest people these days. Me and my mother thank you.

Believe it or not, there are still good, hard working and honest individuals around. I called Patrick to let him know that my dishwasher was acting up and told me that he would do his best to come check it out the same day. He called me at 8:00 PM telling me he could come check it out, showed up and told me that it was a simple fix that required a replacement part and that it was a simple fix. My experience with plumbers has been less than satisfactory but he gave me the advice I needed and didn't even charge me just for showing up. He offered great service and I highly recommend New England Plumbing for any job that they can perform.

So I made an appointment on their website. Proceeded to take 1/2 a day off work to meet the plumber. After 1.5 hours late please read the response se from the owner. What a joke- they don't know how to operate their own scheduling feature found in their website. Pathetic - many other more responsive companies. Maybe this is the norm for New England? This won't hold water in Miami.

I discovered New England Plumbing a while back when I was trying to find a licensed plumber in Miami that actually answered calls and was able to keep to a specific schedule. I find them efficient and easy to work with so I have continued to use them. They can make it to a property usually within 24 hours, and if its an emergency they can charge you a fee and be there almost immediately. One thing I particularly like about them is that they email the invoices and even include photos of the work that was done! They are very easy to work with and I recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services! If you live in a condo, they are licensed and insured so they are able to service condos as well!

These are the only guys I bother calling any more. Honest, licensed, insured, they show up when they say they will. These three characteristics put them above 90% of the other plumbers in Miami Dade County.

It says A LOT when a plumbing company refers you to another company (versus just saying no). I am so thankful that I was referred to New England plumbing. John Patrick and his associates are professional, responsive, and cost conscious. New England was easy to work with via text, they were quick to give estimates and were honest, reliable and punctual (three things I've found to be very uncommon in Miami). They have come back multiple times to help me fix the temperature after the water heater was repaired but it's been too hot (we have an infant) or a little too cold. There's been no complaints and they even reached out to see if I was happy and reminded me I have a year warranty. New England Plumbing saved us a lot of money by encouraging us to fix our water heater instead of buying a new one (which we thought we had to do). I'd imagine it's more work on their end to offer a one year warranty on a machine that's already 6 years old than to just tell me to a buy new one. I have saved their number in my phone as this is the company I will use moving forward for all my plumbing needs!
