New England Drain Service
Company Overview
DRAIN CLEANING:
Residential-
A large portion of household inquiries are addressed through a mechanical auger. The device removes the clog in a circular fashion with blades to open the drain. This equipment works well whether obstructions or during preventative maintenance.
Commercial/Industrial-
The most effective way to clear a drain is pressurized water systems, akin to a powerful water sprayer. We use this technique for floor drains, catch basins, and sewer lines.
Other Services Include:
Title 5 Inspection: Real estate sellers should have this done ahead of putting their house on the market. Every part is evaluated.
Odor Detection Services: If there is an odor in your bath or basement, we will identify the cause and resolve it.
Pipe Tracing and Locating: is done above ground through a camera and sonar technology. Ideal for identifying old lines, spotting leaks and trouble spots that need to be repaired.
Camera Inspections: utilizes a camera to inspect the pipe to determine the internal issues.

Wish I could give them 6 stars.
Office dispatch was friendly and didn't hestiate to give me an estimate of what it would cost (which not everyone will do) -- but the main thing is that the guy who showed up was such a professional. He did a fantastic job working with our pedestal sink -- cleared the problem within 15 minutes.
After 3 days (and one handyman making things worse), draino, plunger, etc. we finally broke down and decided to pay the $205 for professional drain clearing. It was worth every dime.
We should have just called them first!
George R.Julie on the phone was nice (didn't talk to this ""Fran"" the other person reviewer talked to). Rick showed up about an hour later after dark on a week night with a blizzard coming the next day. He was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, tactful and made a minimum of mess. The price was what I expected. We had a clog in our main sewer line out to the street and he was able to get things moving again (removed some roots, etc).
The owner of this business, Fran Elms, could not be more rude and disrespectful. The men in the field did some work in my home and accidentally turned off the cold water to my washing machine. When I called, Fran told me that they did not touch the washing machine and that the problems we were having had nothing to do with the work they did. He said all this having no idea what was actually done. Once the man who had been at our house came back, he realized that he had accidentally turned off the cold water to our washer and took care of the problem. Fran later said he was ""sorry if (I) felt disrespected."" Got to love those ""apologies."" Don't use this business. If you have a problem, you're not going to want to deal with this abrasive, difficult owner.
