Was recommended this company by another plumber who does not work with tankless water heaters. I am a landlord/owner and knew most probably that the 16 year old tankless would have to be replace when it started acting up a second time in a year. New Design had an employee out the next afternoon and after an inspection i decided to replace. i was assured that the job could be completed before the end of the next day (Friday) and it was. Besides the timeliness of the work, communication was exceptional- information on what and when. Workers intelligent and pleasant and when thinking back to some of the estimates that i have fielded in the past, a very reasonable cost. Thank you N D P. Hire these guys.

I've used their services once and they were affordable and swift. Their contact came as a recommendation from my landlord who said their previous tenant recommended this service.

The reason for 3 less stars is because I don't think they're as thorough as they ought to be, and because of that, my partner and I could've been in serious trouble.

They checked on my water heater back in June/July and they 'fixed' the issue by turning the knob from 'warm' to 'hot'. They were in and out within 5 minutes. Granted, I know nothing about water heaters so I trusted that them when they said nothing else is wrong. They are, after all, the 'experts'.

Fast forward to end of December, my water heater stops working in the middle of the night. My partner goes to check on the heater and finds a small flame. Thankfully he extinguishes it before it blew up (literally it could've - it's a gas heater).

We called an emergency plumber immediately. The dude comes and inspects the water heater and quickly finds out that it hasn't been replaced in 20+ years! A water heater's lifespan is about 10-15 years.

Sure, a part of this issue is that the landlord and the previous tenant did not do their part in swapping out the water heater earlier. But the other part of the issue is that the plumbers from this company who came to check on my water heater did not notice this HUGE piece of information, and if they did, they did tell me about it.

So while this company was swift and afforable, ask more questions than I did in 5 mins and be more thorough in your questioning than they are in their process.

You can't do better than these guys! We have used them and depended upon them for as long as they've been in business (10 years, about). The are so thorough and professional and determined to solve the many problems we have had over the years. They are honest, dependable. I know that they will always solve any issue, no question. They do their best to get to my house at the earliest possible moment. I sincerely count myself as lucky to have New Design in my life. They are wonderful people and the very best plumbers!!!

So we have had our share of plumbing woes this summer and New Design has been truly amazing in the help they have provided us. Both at our home and at a commercial building we own. They do great work, they are fairly priced, they are good people, they are dependable, they are clean and clean up after their work and they work efficiently. I just cannot say enough good things about them. You would be unwise to not try them if you are needing a new plumber.

I have been a customer since they started their business for various different needs. However, on a Sunday morning I woke to a leak between floors and it progressed throughout the day. I phoned New Design to leave a message that it was an emergency and could someone come Monday morning. They had 2 plumbers at our house by 9am Monday morning and they were able to find the pinhole leak in a pipe and repair it so we did not suffer anymore damage and possible mold in the walls. We had to replace drywall but so happy they provided a quick response when I really needed it. I highly recommend this company

I have no idea why, and I'm unfamiliar with this company, but they consistently text my phone with obscenities. I'm assuming this is meant for one of their customers since I have had no dealings with this business. But I find this totally unprofessional, downright rude and obscene. If this is how they deal with their customers I certainly could never recommend them. Additionally I'll make sure to advise my friends, colleagues and clients to never use this company.
