Highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing, cooling and electric needs! Quick, courteous service- We have had the pleasure of having Mike as our technician and he has been beyond helpful and full of knowledge. Again, I would definitely recommend this company.

Friendly and good work, but $179 for less than an hour work is expensive! Should have asked for an estimate.

I contacted New Circle on 10/30/18 to help me determine if my microwave problems (kept shorting out) were due to a broader electrical issue. They tightened the breaker and said it may need further investigation if the microwave problem persisted. I paid $231.60 for this advice.

I contacted New Circle again on 3/14/19 as the microwave problems continued. This time they noted several electrical panel issues and recommended a $2,500 new system. I paid $220 for this advice.

At this point, New Circle had not addressed my primary concern: is my electrical system causing my microwave to malfunction? However, they had collected $451.60.

I then contacted another electrician that quickly realized that the electrical system was providing enough amps for the microwave and that it must be an issue with the microwave.

GE has confirmed this microwave had been recently redesigned due to a bad door sensor. They are replacing the microwave.

I explained the situation to New Circle and requested a refund of at least one of the two charges. I did not originally ask them if I needed a new electrical system. I asked them if the electrical system was causing the microwave to short out. They misdiagnosed the problem, tried to up-sell me a $2,500 system and is now arguing that lightning or a power surge caused the issues with my breakers and microwave. They charged me $451.60 for this level of service.

We have used New Circle Mechanical for several plumbing, electrical and HVAC issues in our personal residence and rental homes. We will continue to use them and recommend them to friends and family. The technician, Shawn is prompt, professional and knowledgable.

This time we called them to clear the furnace drain line. Unfortunately, they were unable to clear so they suggested running a pump to the sump which would be cheaper than re-plumbing the line. They also suggested adding a ground rod to the house for protection and repairing some sewer caps that had been destroyed in the yard by lawn mowers.

We will continue to use them in the future

I recently had New Circle Mechanical out to my house to look at my fireplace. The technician was very knowledgeable and very professional. I thought the service call was $59.00 and the technician found nothing wrong with it. He just used the shop vac and then lite the fireplace. I also had him check one of the gas lines on the heater. All he did was look at it and it was fine. He told me just to clean the heater and then light it. My total bill was $125.00. It is my opinion that the service call should have only been $59.00 expecially since all the tech did was vacuum the fireplace and light it. The tech was wonderful just not sure about the prices.

The following week I called for service to light my heater. The pilot would not stay lite. So Shawn came out. He was also very knowlegable the professional. My heater needed a thermo couple(?). The part was $35.00 then he charged me $120.00 for one hour plus the $59.00. Which brought my total to $225.00. Then at the end of the service call he said if I filled out a survey I would receive a $50.00 coupon for my next service. I should have received one from my first service call but Shawn said it probably hadn't been processed yet and that I wouldn't be able to use it but he would check when he got back to the office. I'm just not sure about the company's pricing. It seems like it should be one price and then you are charged another price.

Now I should receive a $50.00 coupon for rating the service call and a $20.00 coupon for posting a review. I will see what I get. I would use them again, but I will get a firm price from Jason before any tech comes out.

Moved to Louisville and we needed an electrician and a plumber to help fix a few things. These guys are snake oil salesmen. The owner came across as a God-fearing, honest man, but his entire team was deceptive, slow and overcharged us. In the end, they charged us $800 and had a ton of excuses as to why they could not do X, Y or Z.

$800 got us a hot water dispenser, Nest thermostat and a washing machine floor drain installed.

We also were told that our upstairs washer could not be connected quickly because it would cost thousands in repairing a burnt wire or fixing the circuit panel. These untruths were proven as such when another electrician came in and got electricity working with a simple circuit test and replacement part -- it cost about $125 if I recall.

Additionally, they did not install the washing machine drain properly as we found out months later when the washing machine failed to operate. We had to call Maytag and they came out and showed us the poor install job on the drain which was causing issues. Suffice to say, the Maytag man fixed the drain install and got everything up and running.

Avoid these guys at all costs.

Big John is by far the most knowledgeable tradesman you will ever have in your home. He has been working on our home for years. We were in a position where our home had suffered an electrical surge as was being covered by our insurance. Well a crooked adjuster was trying to deny our claim until Big John got the whole situation straightened out. I would highly recommend!

In the past, I had wonderful experiences with this company. I'm not sure what has changed, but now they are terrible. My furnace went out in October, we paid $200 for a service call, where they literally just changed the filter and called it a day. I was told then that it was only a temporary solution, and they would be ordering a new motor for the unit. However, the guy who did that service call apparently quit soon after and did not provide the company with records of my service call. No motor was ordered, and my furnace went out again in December. We paid $200 again for another service call, and this time the person who came out changed the filter, tightened a screw, and declared the issue resolved. He said no new motor was needed because supposedly a lose screw was the source of the problem. Funny enough, here it is a couple weeks later, temperatures have dropped into the single digits, and my furnace has gone out yet again. Whatsmore is that New Circle wants me to fork over even more money for them to come back out to fix the same problem that they should have repaired the previous 2x I had them come out. It is absurd that they would keep charging me when it has been less than a month since the last service call, and they clearly did not get the job done then. I feel like I have been ripped off, and I want to warn anyone who comes across this company to run far far away.

Wow ... 1st appointment 9am had to miss work for 2 hours ...no call , no show .. Finally 1030am I call Jason the phone guy with 30 years of experience. He claims they are a driver down down but have 5-6 service tech .But when pressed about that wasn't I the first appointment and why not at least a courtesy call... He seems to not have no answer ... So we make another appointment the follow day appointments @430 pm i ... no show , no call again ...@ 530 I call again and now Jason tells me he was never going to send anyone out because I put my reviews of them ( punctuality, professionalism..etc on Angie's list ... He tells me if I want them to come ,I need to take down my review ... My job is to switch out to fuse that were damage by water which I was told would cost between 300-1500 dollars ... so apparently on Angie's list review I put the job was 800 .. which is between 300-1500 and Jason called me a liar... Stay away from these guys and Jason your the voice of the company ... work on your skills!!!!

One of the worst business experiences I've heard of. Do not trust or use New Circle! 2 weeks ago they were referred to me when my AC unit broke. They ""fixed"" it without giving me an estimated quote and charge me $700! I was shocked and voiced that I didn't feel comfortable spending that much money on an old unit when maybe I should have replaced it. Jason assured me they made the right call and would take care of me if their fix did not work. Well, it broke again, they came out and said it needed replacing and Shawn quoted me $5,100! When I reminded them of the unnecessary $700 charge they offered to take off only $100...when I asked why the cost was so high they said they were offering me a 10 year warranty and I can't get that any where else...except the thing is that I can. Both opinions I got after New Circle offered 10 years...that is just bad business.
Might I also add that That the last guy I had come out found that They added WAY too much freon and almost blew up my unit. He was able to fix my unit for FREE and install a new unit with 10 year warranty for $3,800.
Moral of this novel is to ALWAYS get a second/third opinion!
