Carmen P.I cannot recommend these folks enough. I sent a message through Yelp and he was able to fit me in the next day. The day after the owner and his wife found and fixed the problem. Very friendly, fast and reliable.
Shirlene T.Contacted this company to help out with our pool leak. The first time I contacted him he was on vacation, so I said I would contact him again when he came back. When I did he gave me a 12-4pm time slot the following day, which I agreed to. When 4pm rolled around he still hadn't showed up. I gave him about a half hour after before I tried contacting him, but no answer. He called me 10 minutes after that and asked to reschedule the next day. I agreed, because I really want this taken care of and I'm willing to accept that accidents happen.
He asked if he could come the following day between 7-8. I asked if it could be closer to 8, and he agreed 8am. I got a message from him at 7:54am that he was on his way, but he didn't arrive until after 8:30am.
My husband came out to help because he's more familiar with the pool system than I am. They talk about what flows where, and Matthew (I'm assuming Matthew as that's who I talked to in messages, he never actually introduced himself) asked him to switch it so it didn't pull from the spa at all. My husband asked ""why?"" and Matthew said ""Because I said so."" My husband (who is neurodivergent) did not get that answer and told him that wasn't a sufficient answer. Matthew then said ""That's it, I'm out of here."" and then LITERALLY sped off and that was that. And I really wish I could say I was exaggerating, but that was apparently all it took to set him off. The whole interaction from his arrival to his leaving was less than 5 minutes.
Just entirely unprofessional from start to finish, and honestly it's probably for the best because at this point I'm not sure I would trust the quality of work from somebody with this kind of behavior.
Update: I feel like his response here pretty much showcases the kind of behavior we experienced. Short temper and unprofessional. This is a very immature response, and I'm glad people are able to see how very little it takes to upset you. Not to mention the gaslighting is the icing on the cake.
I had a outside leak, he came to check it out turned off my sprinkler system front and back, he was supposed to return as he rescheduled for today and low and behold he didn't show! I called and his answer machine stated he is on vacation and won't respond to my message or calls!
Had a mystery leak based on my water bill. Called and Matt came the next day, found the leak, explained and proved it to me and made a plan for a fix. Showed up on time and got it done in one day. Cleaned everything up and I am 100% satisfied.
Had Nevada Leak Detection come out to find leak in pool.First thing I would like to say is that Matt who is the owner took my call, scheduled my appointment he was very flexible with my schedule. One thing I appreciated was he was on time explained everything he was going to do.After he found the leak he marked the concrete that needed to be cut.To our surprise Matt said I want you to get at least one estimate before making a decision. We waited till the next day called Matt and set up repair. He was amazing was spot on where the leak was, he even did a little extra for me. We are very happy with his work ethic. Will definitely use him again and recommend him highly Dawn King
Robin J.I knew I had a leak as my water bill has been increasing significantly every month for the past 6 months. I replaced all my irrigation, but that didn't affect it. In fact, the leak was getting worse. After getting my highest water bill ever, I called the City of Henderson and they confirmed I had a leak.
I called Matthew at Nevada Leak Detection. He did an incredible job! I'm a senior and on a budget. He gave me the most affordable bid I got, although he was very upfront that it could change, as a lot would depend on what he found when he started digging. (THAT is a scary thought!) Ultimately, this leak repair could have ended up being MUCH more expensive. Most of the other bids I'd received were thousands more, and most came with quite the ""dog & pony show"" - when I just wanted to know where the leak was and what it would take to fix it.
I hoped I wasn't shooting myself in the foot by going with the most conservative bid just because I wanted to save money. But Matthew clearly wasn't out to take advantage, as time proved. He knows how these other plumbing companies operate and he sets himself apart with his knowledge of plumbing and he appreciated my concern. I felt he cared about finding the best, most affordable solution for me.
After replacing the valve near my house, it was evident the leak was not in the water main (which everyone else had said they would dig up - FOR STARTERS!) The bad news was this meant it was between the front yard and my garage, where my PRV (Pressure Regulator Valve) was. This could have been a nightmare.
Instead of searching for the pipes, Matthew remembered I'd told him my neighbors with the same floor plan had a similar experience two years ago - and asked if he could see what they did to determine where the main water came in, instead of cutting apart my garage to find the root access that was buried in the wall somewhere. CRITICAL THINKING... How rare! Sure enough, that helped a ton.
Matthew ran the new line under my front walkway and up into the garage with a TINY hole in the drywall and stucco. He insulated the exposed pipes as well as everything he'd put in the ground.
Can you believe the builder didn't even give me a shut off valve at the PRV when they built this house 26 years ago? I have one now! This is thanks again to Matthew, who found the very best way to accomplish this. (BTW, several other plumbers had said it couldn't be done without replacing the PRV and half the plumbing in the wall!)
Do I need to go on? :-) I'm thrilled. I have a corroded Manabloc plumbing system with polybutylene pipes which are not covered by ANY insurance plan, and guess who I'm going to call to replace it as soon as possible? Yes - Matthew at Nevada Leak Detection.
If you have a leak, don't screw around with it. Just call Nevada Leak Detection and you'll KNOW you're getting the best deal and the best, most affordable service. You can call around if you want and get other estimates, but you'll be wasting your time.
Paul M.Nevada Leak Detection LLC get my highest recommendation! I had a mystery build-up of moisture in the drywall at one of my rental units and the plumbing specialists could not find the leak. I called Matthew Henderson at Nevada Leak Detection LLC and he ran a pressure test on my copper piping then used a thermal photographic system to establish that the source of the moisture was a failing tile roof! My copper piping was working perfectly. This was an amazing discovery and saved me a massive amount of money trying to chase down a leak under the slab! I'm eternally grateful. Matthew is also, fast and super polite! I got a full report in one day with astonishing images of the moisture penetration.
Jessica E.Totally disappointed. How can I ever trust any company again.
It seems this is the new norm. If a company does not have the answer they make one up..
Shawna R.I called 5 different businesses and Matt was the only person to call me back the same day. Him and his partner showed up the next day within the time I was told. He called when he was on his way, per my request, and when he arrived. Both guys were very friendly, efficient, and respectful. My problem got fixed and I was charged less than the quote I was given over the phone, which I appreciate. They saved me a bunch of money compared to a previous estimate I was given from another company! I would definitely recommend these guys!
Roe N.THANK YOU SO MUCH MATT!! I had a leak in my main line and I called Matt and he came within an hour to asses the problem, then he told me he will come back the next day at 6am to avoid the midday heat , as promised he came early with 2 other nice workers and worked away, they finished the job and cleaned up after and Matt even helped me find an electrician for my friend's company that needed workers !! TALK ABOUT GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND, if you're looking for someone to handle your leak professionally and timely, Matt is the guy!! GREAT JOB!! I'm glad I disregarded one bad review because I often go with my gut and when Matt came to do the estimate, he was just so professional and gave me good advice about our plumbing. I'm happy to find someone I can count on, especially in this city where I've met so many flaky and unreliable companies.
