Matt is the ""real deal"". After trying to find leak detectors, I finally found Nevada Leak Detection. He came to our home within a couple of hours, somehow found the problem (we have paid $200 to the water district for 3 months now). Rather than wait he went to a plumbing store to purchase what was needed, and our problem is now fixed. Matt did a quick inspection of our plumbing in and out of the house to be sure there were no other problems. What a great guy on top of everything else. I had a leak somewhere from the street to the house. I was envisioning the worst with a torn up driveway and thousands in repairs. Thankfully Matt repaired it without disturbing my concrete, and returned the landscape back to its original state in the few areas he had to dig.
His positive personality alone makes him worth hiring. He also charged me $1000 less than another quote I received. An outstanding experience all around. I couldn't be happier with the ease of the entire process. Thank you again Matt.

Nevada Leak Detection was amazing! Matt was efficient and thorough. He found and repaired leaks in my pool waterfall, my pool and my spa. He significantly reduced my water bill!
I knew my pool waterfall was leaking for years but was afraid of the cost to fix it. Matt diagnosed where the leak was coming from and assured me the leak was stemming from the top basin of the waterfall. After doing a top notch job sealing the basin at a very fair price, I am finally able to enjoy my waterfall again!
Matt also fixed an ongoing problem with my water heater, which wasn't even the reason I had hired him- thank you Matt!

My first impression of nv leak detection is Matt who happens to be the owner was on time and also called to confirm that he had arrived a great start. Matt found my leak and gave a clear and concise explanation of what needed to be done. I ended up with 2 water leaks which was fixed in a timely manner. The clean up after the work done was nonexistent since he and his assist TJ took care of it. I would highly recommend nv leak detection if you want an honest and reliable company.

I cannot recommend these folks enough. I sent a message through Yelp and he was able to fit me in the next day. The day after the owner and his wife found and fixed the problem. Very friendly, fast and reliable.

Contacted this company to help out with our pool leak. The first time I contacted him he was on vacation, so I said I would contact him again when he came back. When I did he gave me a 12-4pm time slot the following day, which I agreed to. When 4pm rolled around he still hadn't showed up. I gave him about a half hour after before I tried contacting him, but no answer. He called me 10 minutes after that and asked to reschedule the next day. I agreed, because I really want this taken care of and I'm willing to accept that accidents happen.

He asked if he could come the following day between 7-8. I asked if it could be closer to 8, and he agreed 8am. I got a message from him at 7:54am that he was on his way, but he didn't arrive until after 8:30am.

My husband came out to help because he's more familiar with the pool system than I am. They talk about what flows where, and Matthew (I'm assuming Matthew as that's who I talked to in messages, he never actually introduced himself) asked him to switch it so it didn't pull from the spa at all. My husband asked ""why?"" and Matthew said ""Because I said so."" My husband (who is neurodivergent) did not get that answer and told him that wasn't a sufficient answer. Matthew then said ""That's it, I'm out of here."" and then LITERALLY sped off and that was that. And I really wish I could say I was exaggerating, but that was apparently all it took to set him off. The whole interaction from his arrival to his leaving was less than 5 minutes.

Just entirely unprofessional from start to finish, and honestly it's probably for the best because at this point I'm not sure I would trust the quality of work from somebody with this kind of behavior.

Update: I feel like his response here pretty much showcases the kind of behavior we experienced. Short temper and unprofessional. This is a very immature response, and I'm glad people are able to see how very little it takes to upset you. Not to mention the gaslighting is the icing on the cake.

I had a outside leak, he came to check it out turned off my sprinkler system front and back, he was supposed to return as he rescheduled for today and low and behold he didn't show! I called and his answer machine stated he is on vacation and won't respond to my message or calls!

Had a mystery leak based on my water bill. Called and Matt came the next day, found the leak, explained and proved it to me and made a plan for a fix. Showed up on time and got it done in one day. Cleaned everything up and I am 100% satisfied.

Had Nevada Leak Detection come out to find leak in pool.First thing I would like to say is that Matt who is the owner took my call, scheduled my appointment he was very flexible with my schedule. One thing I appreciated was he was on time explained everything he was going to do.After he found the leak he marked the concrete that needed to be cut.To our surprise Matt said I want you to get at least one estimate before making a decision. We waited till the next day called Matt and set up repair.He was amazing was spot on where the leak was, he even did a little extra for me. We are very happy with his work ethic.Will definitely use him again and recommend him highly Dawn King
