I've used this company for over 4 years and even prepaid for this years service on my 5 year old tankless water heater. This year the service tech mentioned we should keep an eye on oily condensation on the heat exchanger and he would call us the following day with an estimate of repair cost. He never called and after 2 days we called to determine what needed to be done. we have called a great number of times and even requested a supervisor/manager to call but no one will return our calls. They continued to say ""someone"" will call but never happened. What used to be a reputable company is now in the toilet. I'll never understand why companies will lie to a customer.

I called this business back in mid October. I wanted a yearly service check. They couldn't come out till December 1st. I said fine. They were to come that day between 8-10am. I got a call at 8:15 saying they had some emergencies and needed to reschedule. I know things happen. However I just found out my neighbor had the same thing happen to them. They called the morning of and said a tech was sick and they needed to reschedule. They couldn't do till the end of December and their appointment had been mid November. Needless to say we will never call this company again and think twice before you do.

Yesterday, Nevada Heating provided us, through their excellent service plan, with our annual maintenance for our gas fire place. As is their wont, Megan, a secretary, called to alert us that our technician was on his way. This an outstanding way to do business, thanks.
Jacob Hahn was on time and very polite. Besides covering his shoes, he laid down coverings over our floors and rugs to keep things clean and away from our furniture. He did an excellent job of cleaning and refurbishing the fire place. He took the time to show us what he had accomplished through the pictures he had taken during the maintenance procedure. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Jacob for any future maintenance work that might be needed.
I, also, highly recommend Nevada Heating's maintenance program. Its value pays for itself and brings great peace of mind.

I experience problems with my furnace in the early AM. They can supply a tech to come in the afternoon and diagnose the problem - which they have done in the past but at that time the cannot diagnose any problem because the furnace is running ok. I requested a technician for early am (8-9 am) and they cannot arrange to have one come for at least 2 months or more. They were unable to change their scheduling priorities to address our problem.

The service and the person who gave the service were very good. But they were too eager to sell me a furnace and air conditioner for a price of $25,000. No talk of repair of the existing system.

Nevada Heating has been servicing our HVAC for a few years now and always show up on time with prior phone calls and messages. We recently purchased the fireplace services as well.
today our service was scheduled and as usual, we got a heads up that the tech was on the way. Shamar Emens was on time, brought ALL the necessary equipment to do the job while all the time protecting my floors, etc. A very nice young man who knew his stuff and advised me at the end of the service that all looked good and was cleaned and running as it should. He did mention the age of the equipment was getting up there and the only item to watch was the pilot light mechanism. It was not as clean as he would like it to be, tho if it was to be removed and cleaned, it may just show its age and stop working! I was very happy with not only his work, but his knowledge and effort to keep any costs to a minimum! Thank you Shamar, and I look forward to seeing you again next year.

They did not measure AC space. Asked for 3k to relocate it. I personally tore deck boards out to make space. They packed up and left saying they were instructed to leave by the manager because it was too late in the day. They then said they would be back in 5 days and would not come any sooner. They left the entire furnace/ac inoperable so I cannot even use the fan or what's left of the ac. When I called to get someone to restore my equipment to the way it was when they arrived. I was told that I ""aggressively threw them off my property"" In fact, I was begging them to stay and I will pay extra. Dispatcher told me the service manager refused to send anyone to assist. At same times she told me I was beligerante throughout the entire appointment. Completely untrue. I would give zero stars if possible.

This is an update to my original post. I did receive the check I requested from Nevada Heating for $2800. to cover the TV, mount and labor. I also received an apology from the general manager, Eric Robnett. However, the way he dodged my phone calls for a week, then treating me the way he did at their shop when I finally had the time to drive out there was unprofessional and unexcusable. Would I recommend Nevada Heating to family/friends? After spending over $18,000 at their company and receiving the poor service and some of the shoddy work they did it's ""NO"".

I had Nevada Heating move a fireplace over 14 inches in March that they previously installed last year to make the surround 28 inches smaller. Part of the job was to relocate the TV over the fireplace. 3 months later I came home from work to find the TV and mount laying on the floor. I called the company every day that week and sent them this pic. After a week of no acknowledgement I made the 25 minute drive to their shop-I told the lady at the front desk who I was and requested to speak to the owner or manager. About 15 minutes later a gentleman named Eric Robnet greeted me. He told me that it looked like someone pulled the TV off the wall! What the real problem was that his installer fastened an almost 100 lb TV and mount to the wall using hollow wall fasteners. The correct way would have been to fasten it to studs. During our conversation he became agitated, turned around and walked away which I thought was rude. I requested a check for $2800. to cover the cost of the TV, mount and labor-he never replied. Now I'm forced to take the company to small claims court since he and the company refuse to do anything. I've spent over $18,000 with this company-I used to own and manage an auto service center-if a customer came to me with a problem caused by my techs they were put front and center and taken care of. Eric Robnett and and Nevada Heating apparently know nothing about good customer service or acknowledging defective work by their techs. I've had other problems with them-when they installed the original fireplace they did it without the proper permit in place. In April of 2022 they recommended replacing the return duct for my furnace for $2000. A week after they did the job the insulation started falling off and they had to send out another tech to fix it. Summing up, this company is the poorest excuse of a business I've ever dealt with.

They're great at getting you sold on products and installation for the follow up is absolutely terrible. I guess when they install a new furnace, they have to pull a permit for the City of Reno, and have it inspected. Turns out, they need to make some corrections. Somehow, it's been my responsibility to try and get them to come out and make this VERY SIMPLE REPAIR. In addition, I've asked them to make a correction to my thermostat - as it was supposed to be one that I could control the heating/air on a timed schedule. I've called four times - my first call being in January - and have YET to receive a response from someone in their office.
Added a second star because the installers and the salesperson we're great but eeesh. This is ridiculous.
