I would highly recommend Nesbitt's Plumbing LLC in Arden, NC. Their work was top notch. An old, large hot water heater was removed from our basement and a new one was installed. Everything was done beautifully with no problems. This is the second time we have used this company and we will use them again. Great company to work with. Nate Nesbitt did a fantastic, timely job. We are grateful.

I want to spare those who are looking for a reliable plumber from using Nesbitt. Nesbitt did a great job on my in slab plumbing so I have nothing negative to say about the quality of their work. When I called them about a year later to do my rough in plumbing, they accepted the job and gave me a time frame for which they would be able to do the job. This got pushed back due to weather and they gave me a new date. That date came and no one showed up. I called to follow up and they said it would be later in the week. Later in the week came and no one showed up so I called and was told that they are swamped with work and are trying to fit me in. I realized that my job was not a priority for them nor was honest, clear communication. In working with subcontractors, I understand schedule fluctuations are part of the job. However, poor communication and leading a customer on is bad business. I cannot recommend Nesbitt plumbing.

We have a rental property in Asheville (300 miles away) so when the tenant called on a Friday afternoon and said the bathtub faucet wouldn't turn off, we were pretty miserable.

I called 3-4 plumbers and got answering services that weren't the actual store - just literally an answering service. Finally I called Nesbitt's and got a woman who actually worked for the company in question. She said she'd see what she could do, called me back in 15 minutes and said ""Tomorrow morning"". It wasn't a ""water overflowing the tub"" emergency so I said that would be fine.

Then she texted me to say that it would be 10;00 instead of the promised 9:00. Who actually does that? In fact, they showed up at 9:30 the next morning, fixed the problem, and emailed me a very reasonable bill.

What else do you want from a plumbing service?

Beware.
This well-intentioned family business has a very limited capacity for quality, detail-oriented work.
Their methods are quick, their craftsmanship, sloppy, and the father of the team is a just a hack. They may be able to get your sink unclogged or replace your disposal, but if you need custom plumbing work done, look elsewhere.
