My husband Gus recently installed a new HVAC system in our home. We contacted Neps, for the final connection. Best choice we could have made. The technician was (ROB) he was (GTREAT) courteous, prompt, efficient and professional. Such a pleasant surprise, to receive good service with nice people. We will call this business for any necessary services in the future.

I was able to schedule an appointment for a furnace issue quickly and spoke to Rob the technician on the phone, and received a text confirming my appointment and when they were on their way.
While looking at the furnace, I really appreciated Rob's patience and thoroughness--his explanation of what was wrong and what to look for was so helpful for me, as I am a first time homebuyer trying to understand my oil heating system.
While the service call took more time than probably he and I both thought, he stayed to make sure the heating was fixed, doublechecking the wiring, the furnace power and the thermostat that he installed.
He also stayed longer to check my A/C unit and show me details for what to look for as a new homeowner. While I chose to wait to get that fixed, I will be sure to call NEPs in the Spring and ask for Rob.
I really appreciated his detailing of what I needed and why, and he did not push anything on me but gave me all possible options.

Super satisfied with NEPS after they replaced a cracked pipe in our home. Rob was very thorough. Would definitely use them again in the future.

We had a clogged drain at a house in Troy.
NEPS claimed that the entire sewer line needed to be replaced because it had collapsed. They quoted $17.1 K. They also claimed they scoped the line to identify the collapse.
We pushed them for a written quote, which they never provided. They also claimed they started digging work on the property which was false too.
We brought another company in who water jetted the line. It was clogged, not collapsed
We will be filing a complaint against NEPS with the NYS Attorney General's office.
NEPS should NOT be in business.

The service and professionalism of this company and the technician I dealt with (Rob) was the best experience I have ever had as a homeowner. This review is long overdue. Not only was Rob timely and conscientious. His level of skill is undeniable. He is knowledgeable and explained every thing he did as well as made home energy efficiency tips along the way. If all of NEPS employees are like Rob, they are a very lucky company. 5 unquestionable stars!!!!

The good: They came out quickly to solve a plumbing problem in a rental property. The technician was polite.

The bad: The bill was $225 to replace a spout on a tub in Troy (about fifteen minutes from their offices in Cohoes). The technician was literally at the property for less than twenty minutes, and he had the part he needed right in his truck, and the part cost $10 according to my receipt. Tax was $15. So they charged $200 in labor for a twenty-minute job.

I didn't ask about pricing beforehand (my tenant couldn't take a shower, and I just wanted the problem to be fixed), which was my fault, but I was very surprised that they charged so much for a quick and simple repair. The plumber didn't even solder the piece on; he used a Shark Bite push-to-connect piece.

Must be nice to be in a line of work where you earn more than $200 for clicking two pieces of pipe together.

Rob, on behalf of NE property services, went out of his way to solve our plumbing issues. He was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. Rob fixed what we thought was the root cause and moved on. However, later in the day the issue repeated. Northeast Property services was prompt to respond to our second call, and Rob returned to find the true root cause at no extra cost.

I can't thank them enough for the second visit. Rob was a great at solving our issues, and did it with a smile!
