The last two times I called neighborhood plumbing, they left things leaking, the first time I had a new toilet installed in my bathroom, when they left I had water running into my basement onto the top of my washing machine, a second person came and fixed the problem, and so I called them again, actually on Friday the 13th of September, I had a slow running drain in my kitchen, that was all, two plumbers came, by the time they left water was leaking out of the bottom of my sink and dumping into my dishwasher and leaking into my basement. my sink now doesn't drain at all it's completely clogged, I was told when I paid that the water was actually running through the drain better but not perfectly. Not at all true. I called they came back all they did was stop the bottom of the sink from leaking and nothing else, I called back, and was told someone would come out over the weekend to at least get the sink to drain somewhat, didn't hear from anyone, so I called, and now they say they don't have anyone that works on Sundays even though their ad is 24 hours and I was told someone would come Sunday because Saturday I had to attend my mother's funeral
I was told also pretty much tough it's not their fault that my drain and my house is in worse condition than before they came, really? is it good business to come and leave someone's house worse than when you were called and not be willing to remedy that issue to at least a slow running drain like it was before anyone from there touched it Kevin, that's terrible business, I didn't even get my sink restored to what it was before you came, I would have had a much better day if I had never called you at all . I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT!!!! recommend this company.
Justin S.I had a toilet leaking and instead of identifying that it was only the wax ring that needed to be replaced (a very cheap solution) they told me that they needed to tear my bathroom down to the studs, including getting a new shower. They quoted me $6,100! I got a second opinion from a different plumber in town who said there was absolutely no reason I'd need to do anything other than replace the wax ring on the toilet. Neighborhood clearly is a company that just up sells you to the most they can get out of you
Nick G.I had an awful experience with this company. They had to reschedule 4 times to install a water heater and were going to charge a fortune to install it. Also, even after I provided the make and model info for the new water heater they were going to install, when the tech got there, he ripped out my old unit, made a mess on the floor, told me that the new water heater I got was the wrong size and left. Eventually I got so fed up I went to a competitor and it was a much better experience and price! Save your money and time and go somewhere else!!!!
I reacted to a mailer saying there were several services and a FREE service call. I called for a leaking toilet and a leaking sink. The technician did not resolve the leaking toilet, ruined the aerator on the faucet, suggested I just get a new faucet. Stopped the leak, but also made the faucet so hard to turn on that I had to have a friend fix it. The visit still cost $134, even with the ""free service visit"".And the technician made me pay additional money for a part he had to go buy.
I was told I had a 30-day guarantee. I called to complain that the toilet was still leaking and that I wanted the ruined part on my faucet replaced. When the technician arrived, I was told there was a different problem with my toilet and that it would now cost $250 to replace the float in the toilet. Since you can get a new toilet for under $200, that price was completely out of the ballpark, and where was the warranty for 30-days? A friend came over, replaced the flapper (the one the tech installed was not the right size for my toilet).
Bottom line: the prices are not appropriate, the 30-warranty means nothing because they try to charge you for something else when they return. The ""free"" visit ends up costing way more than any other plumber I have worked with. And the tech did not really seem to know the business of plumbing.
