Matt and Aaron came to complete multiple plumbing projects. They installed a sink, dishwasher and gas stove as well as running a waterline to the refrigerator and a new gas line for a gas dryer. They arrived on time and completed all the work within the time frame given. They were polite and conscientious and cleaned up everything! They were knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. All around great service.

This place wants to charge you just to get an estimate. Most companies give free estimates and have great customer service. They want to lock you in with getting service from them so that is why they charge you $125 for giving you just an estimate. Don't recommend this business because they pull a scam on people.

I contacted Nebrasky to come and fix the plumbing issue in my kitchen sink. They sent out a technician the next day; he came for 10 mins, saw what the problem was, and then said he had to come back another time to actually fix it. Charged me $140 which would go into the price if they actually came to fix it. Nebraska then charged me a quote of $1,042, because I wanted a faucet installed ( which I had already purchased). I told them they don't have to install the new faucet (which costs $560), but just to fix the plumbing and make it operable again.

They fixed the plumbing, but INTENTIONALLY installed screws to the top of the pipe and did not connect the pipes, so that the kitchen faucet would not be operable. THEY WERE UPSET BECAUSE I DID NOT PAY THEM $1,042, but instead $482 to just fix the pipes.

Because my kitchen faucet was inoperable, I called them again to come connect the pipes and fix it. I was willing to pay the extra $560, but all of a sudden they ""had no more availability for this year. All the plumbers were fully booked till next year.. "" was what I was told from Michelle, their secretary who smiles in your face and stabs you in the back.

Instead, I called a friend ( who traveled a great distance) to come and inspect the work that was done. He confirmed exactly what I had stated, fixed the pipes properly by taking off the piece Nebrasky had installed, and installed the new faucet in under an hour.

I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking professional plumbing work. Extremely overpriced, and requires a few visits just to get the job done. They will charge you $140, and then over $1000 to get the job done.

I would never recommend any one to do business with this company. Unprofessional and unethical especially Paul the Owner. I had a heat pump placed in my home under the NYSERDA program and the entire project was a nightmare. They sold us a heat pump under the recommendations of their staff that does not operate once it hits 35 degrees outside. It turns into a block of ice. The heat pump to be installed in my home and recommended was to work into the low teens. In addition to that, they did not do the duct work the way they had agreed in the contract. Not one time did Paul ever come to my home, call, or even try to rectify the problem. I had to have an independent state investigation under the NYSERDA program with a representative from Albany who concluded the heat pump system was supposed to work into the teens and it did not have a proper defrost system. Nebrasky denied this claim from the STATE and stated the system was designed to stop working at 35 degrees and that we were aware of this system that was purchased. What homeowner would agree to pay for a heat pump that does not go below 35 degrees in New York State? NO ONE WOULD...
Paul denied the validity of the state investigators findings (who by the way conducts these investigations all the time). IT WAS DISCLOSED AFTER THE INVESTGATION THAT NEBRASKY WAS PULLED FROM THE NYSERDA PROGRAM DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER HOMEOWNERS. I have overheard people in the community talk about how terrible Nebrasky is. Even former employees not wanting to wear the uniform in public because community members complain to them about the owner.
Do not do business with them I share my heat pump story all the time so that innocent home owners do not get swindled by their unprofessional practices. Never once an apology or an acknowledgement of any kind into the product they sold us they took the money and did nothing to fix the problem. Choose another company who respects their consumers and does the right thing by fixing a problem that was independently reviewed as faulty.

My furnace failed on a Friday night. I was away for the weekend and had NebraskI dony come to the house .I had some experience ni heating and a/c as I did this some 30 years ago.I determined that the gas valve was defective informed the service tech he performed his analysis and came to the same conclusion and proceeded to give me a quote of over $750.00 for the repair.I went to the heating supply store picked up a gas valve for $91.00 . Needless to say I didn't have them fix my furnace, 45 minutes later I had my furnace running. I don't know how they do their quotes but they are way out of the realm of reality.

Wow, seeing a lot of negative reviews makes one think, BUT we had them install a condensing gas boiler (high efficiency boiler) it all went very smoothly, on time and I knew that the cost while not low was in the ball park with a similar installation in our country place done by a ""local"" plumber. We were happy. Part 2, ConEd locked our gas meter (part of a gas pipeline replacement) while we were on a 4 week trip overseas, claiming that there was a leak when we asked them to turn the gas back on. To make a long story short, the crooks and morons from ConEd really screwed us. Nebrasky did a leak test walked us through the town permitting process - needless to say that there was no leak, yet we had no gas for 12 days after returning from our trip --- meaning no hot water ---. Their entire staff was very supportive and helpful and moved the process through the ConEd and local town bureaucracy efficiently and quickly. Yes, it was expensive but I knew that when an other company proposed a leak test for our central A/C. Overall happy with Nebrasky and very, very unhappy with ConEd

Nebrasky Plumbing is completely out of integrity and doing a huge disservice to their employees and this community.

I will not be using this company again. While the gentleman who came to my house to give me a quote was very courteous and only doing his job, the company utilizes an extremely overpriced coding system for providing quotes. I paid the service call fee of $126.50 for them to inform me that the toilet was just leaking because one of the screws was loose. After letting me know this, the man left and very promptly sent over a STARTLING quote to repair it.

To repair the existing toilet (replace screws, valve, flapper, and gasket): $811.14
To purchase and install new toilet (of lesser quality): $504.72

WHAT?!! I immediately called the company and discussed with a very friendly woman what had happened. She agreed that the quotes were quite ridiculous. Shortly after I spoke with her the gentleman who made the service call earlier that day followed up with me and also seemed to agree that it was overpriced but there wasn't much he was authorized to do outside of the quotes that were given. We agreed that he would discuss with the owner and get back to me with ""hopefully"" a more reasonable quote to repair my existing toilet.

He did indeed get back to me within a few days with a new quote which was honestly more disparaging than the first one. To make it less expensive, they took off half of the job and wanted to charge $400+ to simply replace the screws and gasket. This is not right.

Thanks to the helpful advice of the gentleman who made the service call, I was able to purchase the necessary parts at Lowes and fix the leak myself for under $10!!! Much gratitude to this man for his advice. I wish him the best and hope that he finds employment with good benefits somewhere else.

Called to have them check a hotwater heater that was not staying lit. They showed up and said it was a gas sensor that was covered under warranty but I would have to pay for labor in the amount of $854! They refused to tell me how long it would take or what the hourly rate is. I called another licensed plumber and he completed the job in 30 minutes for under $100. Nebrasky still had the nerve to charge $125 for a service fee which I then had to dispute with my credit card company. Stay away from these crooks!

My pipes froze thanks to minus 18 degree weather. I repaired 2 leaks myself but there were so many leaks I let the lnsurance pay for it. 8 more leaks were found by another company. Two guys showed up from nebraskys and gave us an estimate. They seemed like nice enough guys and I told them I would get back to them.Glad I didnt use your company. The other company charged $977.00 and took 4hrs to complete and you wanted to charge $3,300 per day with a two day minimum thats $6,600 LMAO what a bunch of crooks. They knew they couldn't get over on me since I know about plumbing myself which I learned from my father and uncle.I know people want to make some money but this is criminal. How many old ladys have you ripped off? Bottom line Nebraskys = RIPOFFS. You dont want to believe my story then use them.I will be waiting for your responce Nebraskys Be careful who you try and ripoff

I really wasn't happy with the service provided. We have been having little to no hot water in our showers and Nebrasky sent someone out to look at our boiler. They were out for under an hour but charged me an additional fee for making adjustments to the mixing valve (I would have assumed if it was under an hour and didn't involve a new part it would fall under the standard visit fee). The technician told me to wait a few days and if the water didn't run hotter we would need to at least replace the mixing valve and temp/pressure gauge. The quote to do that was $1,679. This seemed really high so we double checked the price with an extended family member in the business and he let us know that kind of a repair (with labor) should run closer to $600. Our water temperature has not gotten better so we called Boiler King and they immediately suggested that the coils might need to be flushed (which Nebrasky did not do). It was my impression that Nebrasky was more about upcharging than actual customer service.
