I had a great experience with Waltz Plumbing. I needed a water heater replaced and originally called another company who wanted $50 just to come to my house for an estimate. When I called Waltz they had me take a picture of the old water heater and they were able to give me an exact quote over the phone for a replacement. They came out the very next day and installed my water heater. The old one was so old they had to leave it in my basement for a few days to drain because it was falling apart and they couldn't remove it until it was empty. Some sludge drained out and clogged my drain. They came out immediately and snaked the drain to fix the blockage. They said that was part of the warranty and was covered by my original payment. Super friendly plumbers AND excellent service/workmanship. I'm a customer for life now!

Waltz Plumbing is reliable, prices in line, if not more reasonable that most plumbers/HVAC companies, and always do quality work. For 2 years they have provided service to our HVAC unit. We've replaced our SUMP pump - called and they were here within 24 hours. Now we replaced water heater with Gas Tankless system. They coordinated with Washington Gas for new gas meter, county inspection, and did quality work over several days. The plumbers - Steve, Jeff & Jason - were exceptional to work with, as noted Waltz always shows up on time or calls to say they are running late (needed to get supplies), kept me informed of what they were doing, and cleaned up each day leaving the area even clearer than before. You call courteous office staff then quality work and exceptional workers, Jeff Waltz, and the entire company.

Three and a half as there was a bit of a hiccup at the very start. We called them, they wanted to send a proposal by email, and they kept getting the email address wrong. It was almost comical how they had it compared to how it was supposed to be.
Once the proposal was agreed upon, I did have to go to their office as they do not use docusign. So it would be a case of printing off the proposal, signing it and scanning it back to them. It was far easier to go there, dog. The agreement and give the deposit.
Seemingly they are one of the few companies that still instal and service oil furnaces. So there is very little option to go with otherwise.
The installation was done perfectly, minus one of the installers bitching about the access and the weight of the furnace. You'd think it was his first day, but he was 60 odd. Grump old man syndrome?

We were having issues with the water pressure and I wasn't sure what to do. Thank goodness for Bob Waltz Plumbing! And for Steve and Jack who arrived on time, were so thoughtful and kind, and took the time to explain the situation and how to remedy it in the future. Steve actually walked me through the steps a few times. Their service is always exceptional and their customer service is the best. Very reasonably priced. Thanks so much to Steve and Jack!

After a new, used refrigerator was installed over the weekend, the ceiling in the basement below started to pool with water and drip. Chris and his assistant came out within an hour of my call and quickly diagnosed the problem. They were fast, polite, professional and spot on with the repair. I had called three other plumbers and could not even get through their answering services. The price was very reasonable and I am grateful. I would highly recommend this company!

I can't say enough good things about the repair job I just recieved from Jim W. at Bob Waltz. I called for help in the morning because my a/c brok. Jim W. came out the same day took one look at the inside of my system, analyzed the problem, had the part it needed on his truck and fixed it Perfectly! He wore a mask and kept his social distance. He was extremely knowledgeable about HVAC systems and stated that he had over 20 years of experience. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

I've lived in the Frederick area for more than 50 years. I've used multiple HVAC and Plumbing companies over the years. None of them have provided the prompt and professional service like Waltz. I strongly recommend NE Bob Waltz for all your plumbing or HVAC needs. Reasonably priced and the best possible service.
