Naumann was the only trade scheduled on a certain day to run the gas lines to our new RTU. What do you know three other contractors showed up wanting to share the lift. The guys at Naumann got their work done and were courteous to the rest of the contractors as well. We will use them again.

We called midday on a Friday to have a toilet unclogged and they fit us in that afternoon. Why the low rating?
1) They scratched the bottom of our toilet while using their tool - maybe they were in a hurry and just wanted to get their weekend started (they seemed to have left the seat up while they unclogged it because it was very dirty) but they not only did that, they also sloshed dirty water everywhere and didn't even try to clean up after themselves.
2) They initially tried to charge 2x as much as I was quoted on the phone when I scheduled the service ($295 vs. $140), though did take it down to $155 when I pushed back.
3) The owner (I think?) was not at all apologetic and rude when I talked to him about being disappointed that his guys damaged the toilet. He kept trying to say that I was the one with the issue.
I don't think that it's unreasonable to expect professionals to do the job and not damage anything in the process. And at least if they did that, I would've appreciated that they own up to it and take some responsibility for it, if not try to make up for this negative experience. Instead, I was made to feel like I was the one who had the issue and making too big a deal of something that nearly always happens during a plumbing job and was a simple fix that could be cleaned up with product. (We tried that and they did in fact damage the toilet.)
While they did fix the clog, I would not recommend this company based on how they treated me as a customer and my property.

This is a great family run company. Really great people and that's what counts- they helped my past and current homes out in a few different ways- simple and complex. Good advice and fast work, would not go with anyone else. On time, professional and fair prices. 10 stars.

Terrible customer service! I have been a repeat customer on many HVAC issues in the past. You would think as a regular customer they would treat you with a level of courtesy. Think again. We had a major plumbing issue late one evening which left us with no option but to turn off the water in the house. I left a message with the answering service. We did not receive a phone call back and I had to call back several times the next morning only to find out that they could not send anyone over for several days to even tell us what the problem was. As a regular paying and loyal customer I expected better. We will not be using them ever again.

These folks are terrific! Great service, super responsive, and transparent about pricing up front. I broke some glass in the sink (okay, a lot of glass - I was trying to wash a refrigerator shelf and it shattered) and some got caught in the garbage disposal. After that, the garbage disposal wouldn't run - it would only hum - and the sink wouldn't drain. I called Naumann on Monday afternoon, and they said they could send someone out on Tuesday afternoon - but then they called on Tuesday morning to say a technician could be there in half an hour, if I wanted. And I did! The technicians were friendly, explained what they were doing as they went, and even showed me how to fix the issue if it happened again. I highly recommend Naumann Plumbing!

If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would! Jamie and David came out! Very nice gentlemen. Jamie remembered my family from last year, which was so cool. They know there stuff. They explained everything. I am very happy with no more leaky tub! Honest and professional with a great sense of humor. Highly recommend for your plumbing needs!

Flawless from beginning to end. When you have a leak in your ceiling pipe and have turned off the water supply to your home, you feel desperate. Also had a kitchen faucet that was not working properly. Called in the morning, spoke to a courteous woman who scheduled me a time range that a plumbing technician would come to my home the same day and reviewed the fees. As promised Geoff showed up within the time frame, was professional and friendly, addressed my kitchen faucet issue by diagnosing that it was the water filter causing flow problems, so did not have to repair/replace the faucet. Thank you. He then addressed the pin hole leak in my ceiling. Finished up replacing a segment of cooper pipe in 50 minutes. Clean up was great. Charge was reasonable. My entire experience was as pleasant as possible, reasonable fees, prompt, and professional. Kudos ! Continued success in your business, you guys ROCK!

I can't say enough good things about Mike from Naumann Plumbing. I've been calling emergency plumbers in my area all afternoon trying to find someone who was an expert in well systems. I was dealing with multiple issues, some of which I had a hard time describing (foul odor in my water, no water pressure, leaky pipes, very loud hissing noise from the thing on top of my water softener, and a violent reverberation in my water pipes). As you can probably tell, plumbing is not my forté.

This is what I called Mike with after hours, I explained the issue as I just explained it to you. It was even worse over the phone because I was in a bit of a panic. Mike was very patient with me as I tried my best to explain what was going on. He offered to send someone out to deal with the leak, but I explained that I didn't think that would work as we had already had a technician out at that point. That individual took one look at the system we have set up and turned around and left - he had no idea how to service it. Mike then suggested we Facetime so that he could see the issue firsthand.

So that's what we did. I showed him everything that I couldn't really put words to, and he explained to me what he felt was going on. Through the phone, he was able to triage the situation. I now have running water in my home, and I'll be having an expert come service the system tomorrow.

I can't thank Naumann Plumbing enough. Their customer service and industry knowledge are through the roof! I'll certainly be calling them for any plumbing issues I might have in the future.

It was a pleasure working with this company a couple weeks ago. We contacted them when we discovered my mother in-law's hot water heater was running continuously and could hear the hot water coming out of the tank. The owner, Mike, came out the next day and quickly determined that there was a leak in the hot water pipe under the concrete slab in the kitchen. He had seen the problem before, quickly gave us an estimate and we scheduled the work for two days later.

Mike's guys showed up on time and covered all the kitchen counters before starting. They got through the concrete and found a total of four leaks on a five-foot section of pipe. They kept mess to a minimum and we were surprised with how little concrete dust there was. After replacing the faulty section of pipe, they refilled the hole and poured fresh concrete. They took extra care knowing that they were working for an elderly person and covered the drying concrete with plywood so she could still use her kitchen until new flooring was installed. The bill was exactly what was estimated and seemed very reasonable for a full day's work.

We would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the Crofton/Bowie area.

All the employees here are great guys, I don't know how anybody could give this place less than 5 stars. They cleaned up any mess that was left behind, and were very polite. I recommend them to everyone I meet.
